The summer of AAU is winding down as we head towards the end of July and man, what a summer it was for our in-state prospects. We had a host of players in every age group breakout and put their names on a bunch of college coaches radars at nearly all levels. With the summer coming towards an end, I thought it would be a great opportunity for us to take a look at 10 players from the guard, wings, and bigs that I feel should generate more interest when it comes to their recruitment. For this one, we take a look at our second five 2026 bigs whose recruitment should boost up a little bit.

The highest rated prospect to make this series is Carmel power forward [player_tooltip player_id='1560952' first='Evan' last='Harrell']. The 6'8 big man has been fighting some injuries of the past year but when healthy, he has shown some of the brightest upside out of any big man in the state. Schools at all levels need to keep an eye on him for Carmel this year.

The Parke Heritage big man has had a very strong summer with Progeny and is looking like he could be a major breakout player this upcoming season. Pickel has great mobility for his size being a guy that finishes above the rim at a high level. He is more of a true big, but has potential to stretch his game out with more work. Small school should be all over him.

Bloomington South is looking to get back near the top of Class 4A and a player that can help them reach some postseason goals this season is power forward [player_tooltip player_id='1561085' first='Matthew' last='Tierney']. He runs the floor very hard, rebounds his area well, and is consistent scoring around the rim. One of the better under-the-radar bigs in the class of 2026 in the state.

Hess has been a power forward that has struggled with injuries a bit over the past couple of years but now that he is healthy, he could be a breakout player in the class of 2026. He is versatile in the front court with his 6'7 length that scores around the basket well while also being one of the better passing bigs in the state. Has a chance to be the top guy at Zionsville, which should open up more opportunities for him.

A big man that is going to step into a primary role int he front court this season is NorthWood's [player_tooltip player_id='2272823' first='Mason' last='Pearson']. At 6'7, Pearson has great size on the low block that is very effective player around the basket that uses really good footwork and natural strength to be efficient. Should be one of the more steady bigs in the state this season.
