Expert Analysis
Brandon Ramsey | Prep Hoops Scout
Pearson is a highly productive center who recently committed to play at Olivet Nazarene. The 6’7″ interior presence is a throw back type of big man that you can run set plays for in the half court to enter the ball into the post and expected him to score. He has a wide array of post moves, good feet, and is a strong finisher. Look for Pearson to put up some big numbers at traditional Class 3A power NorthWood High School this winter. He improved from #111 to #89 in our rankings.

This 6’7″ center will be the focal point of NorthWood’s offense this season. He is a big, strong presence on the low block with an old-school package of post moves. On the defensive end he has the requisite strength to hold his ground and does a great job of clearing out space to rebound the basketball. Pearson recently picked up an offer from Spring Arbor and has been to several other quality small college programs. He is a very, very high academic prospect.

A strong, physical interior presence from NorthWood High School, Pearson has steadily improved throughout his career. He is a post guy that you can run action for and throw it to him in the post with the purpose of scoring. Pearson gets good, deep position, has clean footwork on the low block, and possesses the requisite strength to bang around with like-sized big men. The 6’7″ center is one of the best small college big men prospects on the board in the Class of 2026.

Caught team’s last game of the tournament on Sunday morning. Started off the game with quite a bit of activity around the main plays of the ball. Maintained good verticality in the paint for a couple of clean blocks to force turnovers. With his length was able to make a few rebounds catching the ball at its’ highest point and had good timing doing so. Screened away from the ball in the 1/2 court set. Got it out quick off of misses to make quick hard outlets to his guards for a couple transition buckets.
