- Hess has been a power forward that has struggled with injuries a bit over the past couple of years but now that he is healthy, he could be a breakout player in the class of 2026. He is versatile in the front court with his 6’7 length that scores around the basket well while also being one of the better passing bigs in the state. Has a chance to be the top guy at Zionsville, which should open up more opportunities for him.

Hess is a very intriguing long term prospect. He is a versatile front court piece that moves around very well at 6’7″, rebounds the ball well, and flashes some offensive skill. Between hitting open teammates as a passer, finishing putbacks, and scoring around the basket it was a very productive Saturday at the IU-Indianapolis Elite Camp for this Class of 2026 Zionsville High School prospect.

is a player that you could see just rise his stock higher and higher over the next couple of years. At 6’7, Hess is one of the more aggressive power forward you will see in the Indiana high school class of 2026 and is someone that is not afraid to track down every rebound and play through contact. This upcoming summer when school ball starts back up, Hess is going to take more important role for the Eagles and continue to build off how well he has done playing for

Hess was one of the more aggressive players overall this weekend at IndyBall. Loved the high motor he played with as well as how physical he is around the rim either scoring through contact or going after boards on both ends. Want to see how much he can expand his offensive game next, but right now he plays his role so well for KGE 2026.

Hess really played well this fall at the Metro Indy Fall League to play his way into our updated Prep Hoops Indiana Class of 2026 Prospect Rankings. The talented 6’6″ forward debuts at #55 in the class with an impressive inside-outside skill set. He has some pick-and-pop ability, will drive it right against closeouts, and is versatile defensively. The Zionsville High School prospect has a good combination of size and skill.

Hess stood out with his impressive combination of size and perimeter skill on Sunday evening. Here is what I had to say on Twitter, @BRamseyKSR, during the event: “Excellent size at 6’6″ with a very pure stroke from beyond the arc. Has knocked down a couple catch-and-shoot 3’s. Impressed with his skill level.” The Zionsville High School product looks like a guy who can develop into a prototypical pick-and-pop 4-man at the next level. Anxious to see what he can bring to the table for the Eagles this season as a sophomore.
