Jeremyah was very intriguing on Day 1. He does a bit of everything and that versatility sets him apart. He's a player who plays extremely hard. Knocked down 3 ball, keeps every play alive, seems to get his hands on everything defensively, and finishes well around the basket. He is a low-maintenance player who is very productive, and he does not have to have the ball to make things happen. The future is bright for Jeramyah if he sticks with it.

Driggers is a player entering the event that not many people are familiar with, as he attends a very small school, but I feel that this will be a coming-out party year for him. He is a project that you do not have to run plays for but he makes them happen. He is a freak athlete whose athleticism sets him apart. He had multiple dunks, clears the glass and finishes either over or through players. He had some highlight plays, moves well, and is a low-maintenance standout who stars in his role. Great seeing him compete in this setting. His game and stature translate to the next level.

Wyatt gave a bit of everything in their games on Day 1. He was hitting the mid-range pull-up and creating offense for himself off the dribble. He was getting to the rim and selling fouls, which is high IQ basketball, and also hitting floaters when he could not get to the rim. He is a strong finisher and puts the ball on the floor as a primary ball handler. He was one of the better watches for me on the day as I like how he competed.

Andrew showed his competitive spirit, and that is what stood out to me. His team was up against one of the best 16U teams, and he competed, played hard, and made things happen amongst the trees. He was shooting the ball, created on some tough and creative finishes, got defenders in the air, and got the foul, and that's high IQ ball no matter the circumstance. Some things you cannot teach and he has those intangibles.

Rios has an excellent handle and was in control of the ball. When the other team started turning his teammates over with the press, he was a player that Hardwood Elite gave the ball to handle that pressure, and he got through it with ease. He has a good feel for the game, navigates in a fast-paced set, and passes teammates to open shots. That's IQ. He's a guard who intrigues me with his upside. Certainly a player I want to see more of and he played well on the weekend.
