-Arguably one of the quickest guards in the area, Fowlkes put on a standout performance against a tough DeMatha backcourt. Fowlkes change of speed/direction with the ball in his hands allow him to fit through some tight gaps in the defense or turn the corner/spin to space to get downhill in a hurry. Loved that he didn't settle for jumpers in a close game and instead put a ton of pressure on the backline of the defense by attacking the rim. His finishing package with either hand around the basket really stood out as he finished around the trees in blue uniforms throughout the evening. Really gutted it out down the stretch for his team and almost brought them all the way back, with a teammate dropping a beautiful pocket pass that would've put the Bengals ahead for good

-Liked Martin's activity in this one as an off-ball mover that finds pockets in the defense to get off clean 3 point looks at the rim. Love his frame and the duality of his skillset to thrive as a physical guard that can play both on or off the ball. Stepped in to take and make some BIG three point shots that came at times when Blake really needed a bucket to stay in the game. Loved seeing the touch on a floater that he hit off glass, but also loved the physical brand of on-ball defense that he plays with at the other end of the floor.

-Did an admirable job scoring and distributing despite seeing two defenders for most of the night. Should've finished with at least 3 more assists as his teammates missed a few bunnies around the rim— but I really liked his processing and decision-making throughout the night. Logan scored off of blow-by layups, spin move faders in the mid post, one dribble pull-ups off the catch, and got to the FT line. Love the pace and poise that he plays with as a young guard that is really hard to speed up and even more difficult to turn over.

-Clark turned in the most efficient and productive performance of the night by starring in his role. Clark made himself available time and time again around the rim and did a great job of securing a few tough catches in traffic before flushing it through the rim with two hands. He's doing a great job of keeping the ball high to avoid turnovers and went right up to score before the defense could react in time. The handle has improved but he only uses it to attack the rim in straight line drives or by clearing the ball out after snagging an offensive rebound to run a DHO with one of his guards.

-First time seeing Garris but he really impressed with his blend of athleticism and activity as a W/F tweener. Garris' activity and fearless approach shown through on his 5 blocks, most of which were on the ball. Had a beautifully-timed cut from the corner to catch a pocket pass and float well above the rim before crushing a 2-handed dunk. Interested to see how the skill development progresses over the next to years as he figures to be a key part of Potomac's schemes this season.

-Absolutely loved his defensive activity in this one as an athletic wing prospect that flies to the ball regardless of where he is on the floor. Lee jumped passing lanes, timed his stunts at the ball to force and collect steals, and rotated very well to block 2 shots off the backboard. Lee excelled at outletting to a point guard and running his lane to keep his defender wide and away from the bnllhandler. Want to see him ramp up his drives to the basket as well as his off-ball cutting to take advantage of his explosive athleticism.

-Thought that Jeffers work on the glass really clinched things for DeMatha down the stretch of a close game that almost went to overtime. The athletic forward prospect snagged 4 offensive rebounds, 3 of them coming late to extend possessions for his team or earn a trip to the FT line. His instincts as a shot-blocker coming over from the weakside really are coming along as he's learning to contest shots without fouling and bailing his matchup out. The only downside was his 2-5 performance from the FT line, as that is an area that will need to be improved to maximize his rebounding talents and keep him on the floor during tight games.
