Brawl For The Ball – Top Performers

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Brawl For The Ball was an exciting event with some great talent taking the floor. While I was admittedly a bit sidetracked with coaching, I was able to spot and watch some players that came out and had great games and weekends. He had a couple 15 point games that were very efficient. Horvath went off in the finals for a 31 point and 14 rebound double-double. Coaches may focus on the height, but he effectively negated that early and often. Johnson initiates contact then plays off of it magnificently. He's being aggressive with the ball and attacking downhill. Garwood scored in double figures every game and dropped 41 in the 4th contest. He showed this weekend that he can be active on the glass and then push the ball with the dribble. The athletic forward definitely stood out with Moneyball East. He dropped 21 points in an impressive win to get to a semifinal game. His points per game average had to be at least close to 20. Jones consistently wrong footed defenders or put them on his hip.
