Garwood is playing his best basketball right now. He’s being aggressive with the ball and attacking downhill. Garwood scored in double figures every game and dropped 41 in the 4th contest. He showed this weekend that he can be active on the glass and then push the ball with the dribble. He was really strong with his handles this weekend, showing he could dribble past defenders in the open floor.

Garwood is just a really talented and well rounded basketball player. He was counted on to pick up some ball handling duties on a roster missing a couple guards. Garwood was smart with the ball and didn’t turn it over. He was also able to groove his jumper and be a factor as a shooter.

Garwood is must see on Saturday. He had an excellent spring with the Midwest Stampede North as an instant influence as a versatile defender. Garwood showed the range of his game, doing anything and everything asked of him. He defended in the paint, provided secondary ball handling and showed that he could shoot and score at a high level.

Garwood is showing that UD Jesuit will be a threat once again this high school season. He dropped 28 points in a game at the Bowling Green State Team Camp. Garwood is ultra efficient with his offense and will be one of the most versatile players in the state this coming season. He’s a plus defender that can guard multiple positions.
