[player_tooltip player_id='1622327' first='Noah' last='Sevy'] was one of the biggest stock risers on the weekend for me for Grandview. Every single time that I looked up, he was making a play. What stands out most is his size as he's a 6'5 guard. He was bringing the ball up the floor, finding teammates as a playmaker, and scoring with ease. If that wasn't enough, he was finishing through contact and battling down low. He got whatever he wanted in games, battled, and was a player I was thoroughly impressed by throughout the weekend.

I watched him a few times, and the thing with him is that he got better each day. He's a confident guard who truly runs the offense, but he also can play off-ball as well. He is a playmaking guard who also shoots the 3-ball consistently. He's a true point guard who plays at his own tempo and will be relied on this upcoming season. He will account for plenty of wins this year as a reliable and creative PG, and this was a huge event for him, as we expect him to make a big jump on the rankings as well. He's caught our eye and will be a name to know.

Julian Williams came into the event as an unranked player but that changes with big performance after big performance. He was the focal point of the offense and the team's leading scorer throughout the event. What I enjoyed was that despite taking a majority of the shots, he still looked to trust in teammates and tried to find the open man. He was being double-teamed and still scoring, pushing the pace, and showing poise. He will certainly be making a big push and will be asked to take a huge leap in his senior year. Expect to hear a ton about him this season.

Rock Canyon is going to be one of the state's best teams this year as they pay for one another and can score with the best of them. What separated them at Colorado Live was their ability to do the little things. That's where Kai came in. Kai is a difference-maker as he's the connector. He was getting blocks, making smart reads on passes, and was a high-IQ wing who made winning plays. He's able to push the break to start the offense after a rebound, he defended both guards and bigs, and made plays that didn't appear in the boxscore. Kai's a player we certainly want to watch more of and will go out of our way to watch.

Redwine is one of the more athletic guards in the state, and he showcased that at Colorado Live. Defensively, he used his length and quickness to disrupt opponents, showing growth on that end of the floor. Offensively, he continued to shine as he was knocking down threes, finishing in transition, hitting floaters, and making the extra pass. His consistent scoring will be key for George's success moving forward, as I think he has a standout year for the Patriots.
