Elite prospects from Pennsylvania continue the annual ritual of transferring high schools. With the NCAA transfer portal jamming up high school recruiting, we expect there will be a host of extremely talented players who switch schools this summer. Many of them will reclass into a later graduate year.

Over the last six months, Johnson has been one of the biggest stock risers in Pennsylvania Class of 2026. During his junior season Johnson (1,300+ career points) averaged 19 points, 7 rebounds and 3.5 assists per contest. Then on the spring grassroots circuit Johnson grabbed the attention of college coaches with three-level scoring skills. Last week, Johnson announced that he will depart La Academia Charter, transfer to Williston Northampton School, and reclass into the 2027 graduate year. Johnson recently received an offer from North Carolina A&T.

There is major news out of western Pennsylvania as Pratt (2x state POY) is departing Aliquippa and transferring back to Lincoln Park. LP is a charter school where Pratt spent his freshman season. Last year while playing for Aliquippa at the 2A level, Pratt posted 22 points per game and splashed 49 threes. Over his career, Pratt has poured in 1,200+ points and is a three-time All-WPIAL selection. Pratt is an athletic and tenacious guard who excels at scoring in transition. His combination of three-point shooting and off the dribble scoring make Pratt a serious match-up issue for opponents in the half-court too. This is a story to keep an eye on as it will be interesting to watch if the PIAA allows Pratt to take the court at LP.

Robertson assembled a tremendous first year at St. Joe's Prep during which he averaged 10 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists per game. Robertson is a three-level scoring guard, but college coaches will love his true two-way skills. Unfortunately for Pennsylvania hoop heads and scouts, Robertson is on the move again. This summer Robertson will transfer to SoCal Academy in California. While playing with [program_tooltip program_id='2078709' first='Team' last='Final'] on the spring EYBL circuit Robertson averaged 16.6 points and 6 rebounds per game. Robertson holds a slew of DI offers and just added one from Arizona State to his pile.

One of the most decorated 2028 prospects in the state is one the move. Last season at Conestoga valley, Salisbery posted 15 points per game, knocked home 30 triples and was a 1st Team All-Lancaster-Lebanon League selection. Salisbery will now take his talents to McCaskey where this past spring, his father was named the new head coach. Salisbery exploded onto the recruiting scene in the opening week of his freshman year with three straight 25 points or more scoring performances. He went on to post four additional games of 20+ points and finished the 2024-25 season as Conestoga Valley's leading scorer. Salisbery is a polished and poised floor general who can score at all three levels.
