With the spring recruiting period in the rearview as the calendar turns to June and focus shifts to the upcoming scholastic live periods, here's a recap of several 17U guards from across the state who boosted their stock with their play on the grassroots circuit over the past several weeks.

Coming off a solid junior season in Lancaster County, Washington has really begun to make noise since hitting the grassroots scene again this spring. With [program_tooltip program_id='2428018' first='Sideline' last='Cancer'] looking like a heavy contender for a 17U MHC crown, the talented scorer has been a chief reason for that success. A lanky guard with positional size and a well-rounded skillset, he's looked comfortable and been a regular standout while taking on the type of consistent scholarship-caliber competition he doesn't see in the winter. It should only be a matter of time before the D1 offers begin to roll in.

Not many prospects in the entire state have made more noise this spring than Antoniacci, whose scoring exploits while playing up two age groups have generated increasing buzz across the region. Back with NEPA's 2026 group after shining on the 16U level last year, Antoniacci physically looks like a different player and the dividends have begun to pay out in spades. Despite the older competition, he looks effortless while working to his spots while keeping defenders consistently off balance with the threat of his ever-dangerous pullup stroke. Penn State became the first high-major to offer, doing so in April, but doesn't look like it'll be the last at the rate Antoniacci's going.

The talent has long been obvious with Johnson, a drippingly long combo guard with as deep an offensive arsenal as you'll find in the state. Finally starting to settle into his body after stretching out quickly in the past couple years, he's shown signs of putting all the pieces together with some explosive two-way performances during [program_tooltip program_id='2428253' first='Team' last='Final Red']'s strong start to the spring. Looking like one of the best prospects on the EYCL circuit, Johnson has been aggressive but efficient while mostly letting things come to him and keeping his eyes up to make reads for his teammates. It's no wonder why mid-majors have begun to turn up the heat with the Lancaster native while high-majors begin to sniff around.

Playing up with [program_tooltip program_id='2078697' first='Philly' last='Pride'] for the second consecutive year, Feamster has had no problems acquitting himself to the 17U level while standing out as one of the top underclassmen on the UAA circuit. An established marksman from deep, he's impressed with his ability to consistently shake free along the perimeter while showing growth in leveraging his shooting gravity to create easy looks for himself and teammates. Feamster was rewarded for his play with an invite to the prestigious UA Future 60 camp at IMG Academy, while high-majors have begun closely monitoring his progress heading into the summer.

McKoy was just starting to break out on the recruiting scene when an injury cost him the bulk of his sophomore season and subsequent 16U summer. He clearly had his legs back under him by the time the season rolled around, but it's taken until the spring for him to really prove himself, at least in the manner he's done by consistently contributing to winning against the nation's best on the EYBL circuit. Coming off the bench for a strong [program_tooltip program_id='2078709' first='Team' last='Final'] group, McKoy has been rock-solid as a floor general with flashes of brilliance making plays off the bounce when needed. His IQ and positional size have him being watched closely by a slew of low and mid major D1s heading into the summer live periods.

With the spring recruiting period in the rearview as the calendar turns to June and focus shifts to the upcoming scholastic live periods, here's a recap of several 17U guards from across the state who boosted their stock with their play on the grassroots circuit over the past several weeks.
