Although he just transferred there, he fit right in with Mojave's quick and athletic team. He was going to work in the paint in the games that I watched and scored one bucket after another. Broxie was also collecting boards and limited the other team's production inside. His best game of the weekend came against Hamilton High School. Where he had 28 Points, 14 Rebounds, 5 Assists, and 2 Blocks. On offense, Harris was getting to his spots and made both triples and pull up jump shots. He also made crafty maneuvers to get to the cup and he made some nice passes when driving baseline. The defense threw pressure at him in the games that I watched and he still generated offense for his Rattlers. He utilized his court vision to make cross court passes and he used his ball-handling skills to bring the ball up court. He consistently uses good footwork and patience to get his shots off. He was also able to draw fouls at a high rate and he made the other teams pay by rarely missing. On the other end of the court, Wiley was altering shots with his long arms and he had some blocks as well. He was slicing through the defense and getting to the rack on offense. Once he got the basket, he utilized his finishing skills to bury tough shots. I was also a fan of his efforts on defense. His opponents often looked to gain a step on him, but he didn't fall for their deceptive ball-handling or head fakes. The Liberty rising junior went right at defenders at times and successfully shot over them using his length. He also rattled in both mid range jumpers and 3's. He helps space the floor with his 3-point shooting. He also uses his slick ball-handling skills to create shots for others or for himself. Defensively, he had some deflections and picked a few pockets. He wisely used his athleticism when he needed to on both ends of the court. On defense, he was a pest and made the man he was guarding uncomfortable. He was also leaping up to gather rebounds. On offense, he had some hangtime when going up for lay-ups. Which allowed him to locate the basket and finish. Gordon made triples as well and I saw him drop in a couple of nice one-dribble pull ups.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
