Pangos All-American Camp: Sunday’s Top Shooters

He started off game 1 with a couple of slick passes that led to easy buckets for his teammates. Then he began to knock down shots from beyond the arc and he also got out in transition for two dunks. He wound up going 4-4 from downtown and dropped 20 points. He was 7-9 from the field overall, and also made shots near the rim. He continued to shoot the lights out the rest of the day and poured in one triple after another in the game that I watched. The 6'5 lefty sniper was hitting 3's and getting to the rim with ease. He also managed to draw contact a few times, and did some damage at the free throw line. He showcased quick lateral movement when he had the rock in his hands, which allowed him to create separation off the dribble. Defenders did their best but, he still got his shot off and made 3 triples. Rogers also got downhill a few times and made tough finishes. He didn't seem phased by the number of scouts in the gym, and shot the ball with a ton of confidence during the warm up drills. Then in his first game, he was getting to his spots efficiently and hit some nice jumpers. Even though his shot wasn't really falling from 3, he still had 22 points and went 10-19 from the field.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Additional Stats - 4 Assists </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
