Brandon Bass Jr. was cooking on Day 1 of the Pangos All-American Camp. The 6’5 lefty sniper was hitting 3’s and getting to the rim with ease. He also managed to draw contact a few times, and did some damage at the free throw line. Overall, I liked what I saw from him and he clearly has a great feel for the game.

Bass Jr. has steadily developed into a high-level playmaker, proving he’s more than just a scorer. With a strong frame and natural feel for the game, he punishes defenses by attacking the rim, pulling up from midrange, or facilitating for teammates. His leadership and development has been on full display and as he continues to add to his offensive bag, his stock will only keep rising.

The 6’5″ junior guard helped lead his squad to an impressive victory over a talented Blake program. Bass Jr., who has that NBA pedigree, is an excellent ball handler and is very efficient at creating his own shot, whether attacking the basket or creating space to get off his jumper. He shoots both the mid-range game and from behind the arc at a very high rate. Bass Jr. is a high-level talent who has the ability affect the game in a number of ways, both offensively and defensively. His high level of play and knowledge of the game put him up there as one of the top players in the state.

Already a nationally recognized 2026 star, Bass Jr. continues to prove why he’s one of the most dynamic guards in his class. At 6-5, Bass brings a blend of size, athleticism, and offensive versatility that’s tough to match. He’s lethal from deep but just as capable of breaking down defenses off the dribble, showcasing a soft touch in the paint and a growing arsenal of floaters. His improved decision-making and explosiveness make him a constant threat in both transition and the halfcourt, and his ability to dominate games makes him a clear-cut future high-major player.

-Bass Jr. is finally beginning to get some of the national respect that he deserves as a legitimate 6’4 scoring guard that can fill it up from beyond the arc but can also take his matchup off the bounce and finish with soft touch on his floaters in the paint. His athleticism has improved and he’s beginning to move a bit more decisively in the half court and it is paying dividends.

The 6-5 sophomore left-handed sharpshooter was on full display for Windermere Prep, finishing with a game-high 28 points as well as knocking down four 3-pointers. Bass also utilized his game when he finished on the attack as well where he can be dangerous to watch. Defensively, he showed a ton of versatility on the defensive end as well where he made an impact guarding multiple positions at times. Keep an eye on Bass as he continues to get better and better every time he steps onto the floor.

2023 stats:19.7 PPG – 5.0 rebounds – 1.5 stealsThis kid has developed into a rising star since first getting eyes on him last season. I knew right away he was the real deal. He’s only progressed his overall game while picking up a few big-time Division I offers. He has incredible upside with a good frame that he uses to torture opposing defenses. Led his team in points during his freshman season while leading the Lakers to the state championship game. Don’t be surprised if their right back in it with Bass being a playmaking star.

The 6-5 sophomore guard played with a ton of activity using his length making an impact at the rim, finishing just short of a double-double with 16 points and nine rebounds in the loss to Victory Christian Academy. He showed a ton of versatility on the defensive end as well where he made an impact guarding multiple positions at times.

He also got his way into finishing around the rim throwing down some vicious dunks in traffic. Bass finished with a game-high 31 points in the win over The Villages Charter.
