About Connor
Expert Analysis
Andrew Johnson | Prep Hoops Scout
At 6-8 with a strong frame, Corris already has the physical tools to be a presence inside. He plays with a solid foundation, using his size to secure rebounds and protect the rim, but his best basketball is ahead of him. With continued work on his footwork, mobility, and interior touch, he could develop into one of the better slept on post prospects in Florida’s 2026 class. As he adds strength and refines his offensive skill set, Corris is a name to monitor closely.

The 6-8 sophomore wing is a multi-positional talent where he add rim protection as well as finish on either side of the rim at the offensive end. On the defensive end, Corris uses a ton of length whether it’s blocking shots or challenging at the front of the rim. He is also a strong on-the-ball defender where he uses his quickness to stay in front of opposing guards, where his length can cause havoc to set off a good shot. He is an unselfish player and a proven winner on both ends of the floor. Look for Corris to have a solid sophomore season where he uses his versatility as his best skillset.

One of the best players in the 2026 class, Corris certainly didn’t disappoint on Sunday while playing up, finishing with double-digit points and multiple rebounds. Corris is a great offensive rebounder at 6-5, using his long arms to scoop up loose balls. Along with this, the freshman is a great finisher through contact, which he did multiple times off of second chance points.

Connor is an up-and-coming prospect. I believe with increased speed, muscle, and aggressiveness; he can be dangerous. He is consistent with finishing around the rim, shares the ball when he sees a teammate cut, and can hit outside shots. Mr. Corris frequently slips behind opponents for a back door pass or lob in the paint. We look forward to Connor showing off his talents this winter!
