Playing up two years at the 17u level, Goy showed the tools that will make him a prospect to track in the state's 2028 class. He has a frame that simply can't be taught, standing at 6'8 with a long wing-span to match. Goy ran the floor like a gazelle in transition, showing good coordination and mobility for a young big. Though still raw offensively, Goy made an impact as a shot blocker, able to move into spots and get off the floor quickly to make an impact around the rim. I'm looking forward to tracking his progress over the next three years.

Lace Up was playing with just one sub on Saturday while missing a few key players, but Reggie stepped up to keep them competitive. The strong and explosive forward was dangerous rolling to the basket, able to explode for dunks or power through contact to finish off the glass. When he caught on the block or got two feet in the paint, opposing bigs had a hard time containing him. He plays with a physical edge that a lot of players just can't match, and his motor on the glass never stopped. Reggie has always been an impact player in the paint, but I was impressed with the face-up game he showed as well, knocking down a handful of short/mid-range jumpers in the two games I watched.

[player_tooltip player_id='2100912' first='Stephen' last='McGee'] continues to impress this spring running with Comets Elite. The 6'9+ big man is elite operating out of the dunker spot, as he times his quick cuts so well and explodes off the floor to throw down lob passes. If his guards put the ball anywhere near the rim, Stephen was going to catch it and finish with two hands. That quick bounce translated to the defensive end as well where he swatted a handful of shots across the two games I watched, while forcing countless misses as guys tried to avoid his imposing wingspan. He's always had the physical tools, and now Stephen is finding ways to turn them into consistent production.

Bryce is one of the most skilled bigs in the state's 2027 class. Throughout the weekend he had some impressive passes out of the block and high-post areas, including one over his head to a cutting teammate he somehow saw behind him. Good low post footwork with the ability to catch on the wing and dribble into a post-up and go to work from there. Defensively he did a nice job of standing his ground on the block while taking contact straight to the chest, and finished with a few blocks in the pair of games I watched.

Oliver showed some flashes over the weekend running with [program_tooltip program_id='2075685' first='Minnesota' last='Select']-Horn. He has some size on his frame, but still moves well at 6'9, getting up and down the floor to make plays in transition. I liked his hustle to sprint back on defense, and his presence sprinting back on D helped force a pair of transition misses early in the game. Had a handful of finishes inside while being defended by length in the game I watched.

Whether as a stretch-four or a big wing, Jed combines a long 6'5-6'6 frame with mobility and shooting touch beyond the arc. With the two Ethans on his team drawing a lot of attention, Jed was able to find pockets of space to catch and shoot out on the perimeter, while also opening up driving lanes by taking opposing bigs away from the rim. He got up and down the floor with ease in transition, and showed he can handle the ball well at 6'5+.

[player_tooltip player_id='2447449' first='Luke' last='Hanson'] is a big body inside for [program_tooltip program_id='2135832' first='The' last='Next Level Basketball Academy']. Defensively he's tough to move off the block with his frame, and does a nice job of walling up to contest/alter shots. He did a nice job of not leaving his feet to fall for shot fakes, and did just enough with his 6'10 frame to put guys off and force misses. Offensively he has soft touch both around the rim, and extending out to the perimeter. If you let him face up he can just shoot right over the top and connect at a high percentage on short/mid-range jumpers. Has to continue working on his agility/mobility, but you don't find many guys at 6'10 with the shooting touch Luke has.
