Luke Hanson Luke Hanson 6'10" | C Fargo Davies | 2026 State ND used his 6’10” frame to make a big impact this club season with NLBA. Slimmer and more athletic, Hanson showed improved bounce, rim protection, and rebounding, while also finishing strong around the basket and throwing down a few slam dunks. When playing with confidence, Big Luke can be a difference-maker, and it will be interesting to see if he carves out playing time this winter with the Davies Eagles.

Luke Hanson Luke Hanson 6'10" | C Fargo Davies | 2026 State ND is a big body inside for The Next Level Basketball Academy . Defensively he’s tough to move off the block with his frame, and does a nice job of walling up to contest/alter shots. He did a nice job of not leaving his feet to fall for shot fakes, and did just enough with his 6’10 frame to put guys off and force misses. Offensively he has soft touch both around the rim, and extending out to the perimeter. If you let him face up he can just shoot right over the top and connect at a high percentage on short/mid-range jumpers. Has to continue working on his agility/mobility, but you don’t find many guys at 6’10 with the shooting touch Luke has.

WHY?
BIG Luke played solid interior defense. He blocked/swatted shots and altered many more. Hanson also rebounded on both ends of the floor. Not to mention, Luke threw down his first SLAM DUNK of the season in dramatic fashion!

Luke has some nice tools to work with, and was producing at a high level while playing 17u against the Minneapolis Reapers. At 6’9 he has a big frame that immediately sticks out, and he isn’t afraid to play with some physicality inside. He had a big size advantage, and was providing a big target for entry passes before turning and finishing. Showed the touch to finish off the glass even while constantly being bumped by smaller players. Will have to work on his conditioning as he was having a hard time keeping up with the faster pace of play, but was very productive in half-court settings.
