About Cooper
Expert Analysis
Michael Herrick | Prep Hoops Scout
Cooper has shown signs of being a dominant force in the interior, offensively and defensively. He is not afraid of contact, boxes out, and runs the floor with the best of them. Sweeney does a nice job getting downhill and can knock down the occasional three, but he is at his best in transition and on the inside. At 6’3″ with good athleticism, he thrives when the pace quickens and the game opens up.

-Very impressive a couple of weeks ago, full-contact baller. he and his teammate from Moorhead remind me of the “bash brothers”, does dirty work, boards up

Aggressive/tough and plays with a real edge to his game on both ends of the floor. Has nice size at 6’3 but plays bigger then that. He wasn’t just tough on the boards he was next to impossible to block out, extremely active and did a great job of tracking the ball (a skill thats not seen at any level to this digree very often, kind of a gift to be honest). Showed high IQ with analyzing mismatches for himself quickly and taking advantage of them. On a team loaded with talent cooper was one to watch day in and day out with his overall skillset!
