NEPSAC Babson Showcase 2026 Front-Court Notables

These were a few 2026 4/5 men who should bolster their stock with how they played in the first live period.    Griffin is an active forward who makes a killing on the interior. He scored inside and did a nice job taking contact. He made a handful of trips to the line. He plays with an athletic burst and out muscles opponents. Griffin is effective as a screen & roller and has strong chemistry with his guards. He was able keep offensive possessions going with his rebounding and found shooters hunting shots off the ball. Griffin is a prospect who should be getting tracked by low major programs.     Costello is a forward with an expanded offensive arsenal he has no problem putting the ball on the deck. An effective floor spacer who shoots a clean ball from behind the arc. Costello can also finish around the rim and has a nice burst of athleticism. He has good timing when going up to alter shots. I feel like there some stretches of the game he can sometimes float but finds ways to redeem himself by making a highlight play to show everyone he still is out on the floor. Costello is a priority recruit for nearly two dozen high major programs and should start to see more get involved.     Cook impressed with his ability to score the basketball inside. He has a really smart shot selection and doesn't look to force things. His loudest skillset is his ability to find others with his passing. He is a quarterback like a quarterback on the block dropping dimes to shooters and connecting with slashers. He does a nice job screening which allows for his guards to navigate to different spots off the bounce. His play over the weekend was rewarded by a few scholarships from low major programs.     Webb is an oozing with potential and continues to get better with experience. He size allows him to eat space up underneath. Webb was a threat to stretch the floor from the three point line. He showed some flashes around the block. He has good timing when altering shots. Webb is effective running the floor. He does a nice job playing in the half-court. Webb should be getting monitored by scholarship programs.     Baum is a skilled forward who makes plays on both ends. He is a sneaky athlete who can finish above the rim. Baum thrives as a rim runner. He found ways to convert buckets around crowds of defenders. Baum has an energetic motor and has no issue making hustle plays. His ability to put the ball on the deck in the half-court was seen often. Baum has a nice blend of length, size, and athleticism. He would be a nice pick-up at the division two level.     Okpara is energetic forward with an elite motor. He has nice length that allows him cover different positions with ease and switch 1-5. He scored in the mid-range and also converted on chances inside. Okpara runs the floor like a gazelle. He was one of my favorite prospects I watched all weekend and has a skill of playing hard which is trait that transitions to the next level for immediate impact players. Okpara found ways to get to the charity stripe. He is a prospect who needs to be prioritized by D2's and low majors.     Tambedou is a hard-playing freak of an athlete who is bound to make a highlight play in a blink of an eye on either end of the court. He is a sneaky good passer and can get the ball through tight holes in the defense. He has great touch around the rim and thrives from the dunker spots. He is interchangeable defensively and can guard all five spots. Tambedou should be a priority for high major programs in need of a forward with positional versatility. High major programs should be monitoring Tambedou.
