Okpara is a super interesting prospect who’s position I have never been able to figure out. He’s 6-foot-7 and super long, but he likes to handle the rock and moves like a guard. Defensively, he can guard multiple positions because of his athleticism, length, and strength. He’s a well rounded player who may struggle at time against bigger forwards, but he’ll still beat them down the floor and will get some points that way. I’m not sure exactly how he’ll fit in the college game, but scholarship schools should be intrigued by him because of his potential on both ends of the floor, not to mention the fact that he’s a total workhorse and is probably going to do whatever it takes to win.

Okpara had a breakout year for Wilbraham and Monson last season, and he continued his development into the AAU season with Middlesex Magic. The 6-foot-7 forward has ridiculously long arms, which allows him to compete with opposing bigs on the offensive and defensive glass and on the defensive end. Offensively, Okpara has an excellent handle and very good agility for his size, and he’s an amazing downcourt driver. These skills will likely earn him a scholarship at the D1 or D2 level, and he should be one of Wilbraham’s best players this season.

Okpara was a standout at multiple stops this summer, improving his stock and boosting his recruitment along the way. The Wilbraham & Monson forward is capable of defending five positions, has great length, and plays with an incredibly high motor on both ends of the floor. His defense is his calling card as he can cover lead guards in the open floor and big men in the post, while also contributing at a high level on the glass. He’s a grab and go rebounder that can handle in transition, makes quick decisions with the ball in his hands, is a high IQ cutter, and does a nice job as a screener that can roll hard to the rim or pop into space. Bryant offered this summer and more will likely follow in the coming months.

Okpara is energetic forward with an elite motor. He has nice length that allows him cover different positions with ease and switch 1-5. He scored in the mid-range and also converted on chances inside. Okpara runs the floor like a gazelle. He was one of my favorite prospects I watched all weekend and has a skill of playing hard which is trait that transitions to the next level for immediate impact players. Okpara found ways to get to the charity stripe. He is a prospect who needs to be prioritized by D2’s and low majors.

A 6’7″ hybrid forward for Wlibraham & Monson, Okpara is a fluid mover with good positional size and a plus plus wingspan. He has elite length, the ability guard up and down a lineup, and a motor that allows him to take over games defensively. He’s strong enough to defend bigs in the post, agile enough to guard wings in space, and uses his length effectively when switched onto guards. He rebounds above the rim, blocks shots from the help side, and makes instinctive plays in passing lanes. Offensively, he can operate as an initiator from the top of the key, has the ability to finish plays as a slasher from the wings, and is starting to show the ability to knock down catch and shoot threes. His motor pops offensively in transition and on the offensive glass. One of the better two-way wings in attendance this weekend, he’ll play at the Division I level someday.

Okpara, a forward out of Wilbraham & Monson Academy, checks into the rankings at #62, climbing 113 spots since our last update. A two-way hybrid forward, he is a high level defender that uses his physical tools to his advantage on that end of the floor. A multi-positional defender, he makes plays in passing lanes and has a high motor as a defensive rebounder. He runs the floor well in transition, does a nice job of scoring around the rim, and shows the ability to create his own in the mid-range. He has scholarship levels tools and will have a chance to show out in front of plenty of D1 and D2 schools while playing for the Middlesex Magic on the UAA.

Okpara doesn’t start for the Middlesex Magic but provides excellent energy and little things every time he enters the game. The 6-foot-6 forward is undersized for the big position, but he’s relentless on the boards and uses his amazing length to stifle opposing bigs and wings. His midrange game and touch around the hoop seem to have improved since his high school season, too, which makes him a much more significant offensive threat. He just does virtually everything on the basketball court on both ends, so he’ll certainly be a valuable piece to a college team in a couple years. I could definitely see scholarship hoops for him.

Okpara, an athletic hybrid forward out of Wilbraham & Monson Academy, has impressed this spring with his motor and versatility while running with the Middlesex Magic on the UAA circuit. A quick twitch athlete, he’s long, lean, and has a quick first and second jump. He plays with a high motor, is an incredibly versatile defender, and can really clean up on the glass on both ends of the floor. He’s impressed this spring as a slasher, paint finisher, and disruptive defender in passing lanes.
