<p>Summer leagues in the state of New Jersey are now underway and are in full swing. Over the past couple of weeks, high school prospects have been competing with their respective programs as they prepare for the upcoming scholastic live period at the end of the month. In that time we've seen a mix of players making their debuts with new programs after transferring as well as others beginning to step into larger roles that are expected to expand come this winter. With Just June continuing its tradition as a key event in New Jersey summer hoops, let's take a look at some standout performers from Monday night's action at Cicely Tyson High School in East Orange, NJ. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Getting more and more comfortable putting the ball on the floor with every showing, [player_tooltip player_id='2344534' first='James' last='Roberts'] showcased a continued improvement in his skillset of being a more complete guard. Roberts shot the three ball at a high clip while also showcasing his ability to attack closeouts and finish around the rim. Roberts also shined on the defensive end, forcing turnovers against opposing ball handlers and turning defense into offense. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Operating as the primary ball handler for Payne Tech's offense on the day, [player_tooltip player_id='2763616' first='Abdullah' last='Parramore'] proved to be an aggressive playmaker with good court vision. Parramore demonstrated that he's a very willing passer that often times makes the right read and gets his teammates involved in the offense. Parramore also showed flashes of his shotmaking ability— knocking down multiple pull up jumpers both from the perimeter and in the mid range. Defensively, Parramore was disruptive— pressuring the ball at an effective rate while using his active hands to get his hands on passes and force turnovers against opposing ball handlers. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">A strong and powerful big bodied forward, [player_tooltip player_id='1919208' first='Gerald' last='Edwell'] shined in his ability to use his strength to make his presence known in the paint. Edwell crashed the boards relentlessly while also showcasing his ability to be a strong finisher at the rim in transition. Edwell also showed flashes in the expansion of his game— particularly his ability to create his own shot off the bounce out on the perimeter.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1853445' first='Ali' last='Kelleh'] shined in his ability to be an effective two way player in NCA's victory over Union City. Kelleh played with a tremendous level of intensity defensively as an on ball defender, consistently forcing many turnovers against opposing ball handlers. Offensively, Kelleh was super effective in transition sprinting the lanes and finishing above the rim numerous times. Kelleh also showed flashes of his mid range shot making ability. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">A dynamic lead guard, [player_tooltip player_id='2763494' first='Jayden' last='Solomon'] displayed a healthy balance between self creation and playmaking at the guard position. Solomon displayed good court vision both off halfcourt dribble drives as well as in transition advancing the ball up the floor and hitting the look ahead, generating plenty of scoring chances for his teammates. Solomon got downhill with ease and was able to finish around the basket both through contact and with craftiness. </p>

A confident ball player, Dixon showcased his perimeter shot making ability in combination with his ability to be a connective passer that kept the ball moving and making the extra pass. </p>
