Prep Hoops Indiana has been hitting the pavement as hard as ever this week. We started on Sunday at Charlestown High School where the Indiana Junior All-Stars defeated the Kentucky Junior All-Stars. Then, we went to Fishers High School on Monday evening to watch the Indiana Futures All-Star Game where the group from the North defeated the South. On Wednesday the Indiana All-Star series rolled into Greenfield-Central High School and the Junior All-Stars pulled a mild upset over the Seniors. Finally, on Friday night, we had boots on the ground at Lexington Catholic High School in Kentucky to watch the Indiana All-Stars beat the Kentucky All-Stars 98-89. Now we are back in the great state of Indiana for a day full of hoops. Before Saturday night's contest at Gainbridge Fieldhouse between Indiana and Kentucky we took in a handful of games at the All-Star Gameday Shootout at Warren Central High School. Let's highlight a handful of the individual top performers from the event.

This 6'6'" forward/center from Tri-West High School really stood out when watching the Bruins play at the IndyStar Indiana All-Star Gameday Shootout. He displayed excellent hands inside, finished consistently with both hands around the basket, and rebounded at a high-level. Anderson is very athletic and bouncy around the basket.

This 6'10" rising junior center will suit up at Covenant Christian next season. He continued to catch our eye throughout the day on Saturday as he did during the fall playing with Indiana Elite Central 16u. Bowers obviously has the requisite size to play inside, but also moves pretty fluidly for his size, finishes with his right hand over his left shoulder, and flashes some upside as a rebounder and interior defender. He is just scratching the surface, but the upside is very intriguing.

Brewer was a big part of George Washington being very competitive with Mt. Vernon (Fortville) for a half. He may be a bit undersized around the basket, but he is very strong and physical which makes up for some lack of height. The rising senior finished consistently in the post, made strong moves to his left shoulder, and rebounded everything in his area. Look for him to have another very good year for the Continentals.

We've long been on board of this Evansville North High School prospect's hype train. In fact, we identified him as arguably the best player in the gym back in the fall when we made our annual trip to the Pocket City Fall League. The 6'4" wing/forward showcased his guard-like skills on Saturday making him even more intriguing. He spent a lot of time with the ball in his hands showing off a different level of individual playmaking than we have seen before. Chapman is absolutely one of the best small college prospects in the Evansville area.

It will be fun to watch Davison grow into a larger role as a sophomore at New Palestine High School. He had a strong freshman season, primarily serving as a catch-and-shoot three-point specialist, but he will be a go-to scorer none after the Dragons graduated a lot of points. He showed on Saturday that he is ready to do so while serving as a primary offensive option in their win over Tri-West. Davison's shot-making ability is very impressive and he has good size on the perimeter. He is deserving of his Top 25 Prep Hoops Indiana Class of 2028 Prospect Ranking.

The fifth starter for one of the best lineups in the state of Indiana, Guerre did some really good things on Saturday for Mt. Vernon (Fortville). The 6'3"-6'4" forward showed off a smooth, left-handed stroke knocking in several catch-and-shoot three-point shots. He also used his strong frame to battle around on the boards consistently. His skill set blends in very well with the plethora of talent around him.

A highly skilled rising junior guard that led a young, talented Tri-West High School team in scoring as a sophomore, Miller had his jumps shot cooking on Saturday at the IndyStar Indiana All-Star Gameday Shootout. The 6'1" was money from beyond the arc knocking in at least five catch-and-shoot three-point shots while also creating his own shot in the mid-range consistently. Miller is a very good athlete that gets great elevation on his jump shot and when extending to finish at the rim.

This was our first chance to see [player_tooltip player_id='2843570' first='Jamar' last='Thomas'] suit up in a Mt. Vernon (Fortville) jersey. One of the most high-profile transfers of the cycle to date, Thomas fit in seamlessly with what will likely be a Top 5 team in Class 4A next season. His defensively versatility and offensive ability in transition especially were on display in two dominant wins on Saturday.

Yates had an excellent freshman season at Shortridge and will now follow his Dad who became the head coach at Tindley High School. The 6'3"-6'4" wing has great size on the perimeter and uses it well to create mismatch problems. That was certainly the case on Saturday even while Tindley was otherwise overmatched against Center Grove. Yates still found success driving to the basket, scoring inside, and passing to open teammates at the end of his drives.
