Day 15 Capitol Hoops Summer League Standouts

I love what Greg does as an attacker, and he is very crafty. Greg scores from all three levels and is a committed perimeter defender. Blake is an excellent athlete, and at 6'7 he does a great job blowing by bigger defenders when he puts the ball on the floor. Blake is a fantastic jump shooter and someone you can count on to get a bucket when you need it. Blake gets after it on the glass as well. Patriot stayed undefeated with a blowout win over St. John's Catholic. Elijah's mix of vertical ability and straight-line speed makes him one of the best slashers in NOVA. He's relentless in his attacking of the rim, and he is a tremendous finisher. He is a good jump shooter and facilitator. Elijah's effort was elite today, and his skill dominated just as much as his will. Aidan is a strong guard who is one of the smartest guys on the court. He is a three-level scorer and an all-around offensive star. He plays at his own pace and has an elite feel for the game. Not the most athletic guy, but those other skills aren't as common as they should be in young guards, and they more than makeup for the lack of high-level athleticism. He had a couple of nice moves in the paint to get easy buckets. Khalib's mix of skill and physicality gave Blake issues. Khalib can score with sheer strength or get his own using his abundance of skill. He was dominant on the glass, and a true way to see if a guy is a great rebounder is to see what they do on the offensive glass. Khalib had 7 offensive rebounds and finished with 20 rebounds total.
