The summer grind is where serious ballers start to separate! With team camps, indy camps, tournaments, workouts, and offseason training in full swing, a number of players are making serious noise and showing that they're ready to take the next step. Whether it's standout performances on in club ball, with their HS teams, or consistent growth behind the scenes, these prospects are turning heads and making noise! Their future looks bright—and if this summer is any indication, we're expecting big seasons ahead once school ball tips off this coming winter.

There is a boatload of talent across the Dakotas...This is a sneak peek into 10 ballers who are looking good this summer, we also expect these players to have a quality school season.

See below, we have baller from ND & SD included in the article...

[player_tooltip player_id='2250339' first='Bennett' last='Jensen'] (2027) |5'10 G| Harrisburg

This summer, when hooping with Harrisburg, Jensen has shown a fantastic first step that gets him by defenders. His sharp handle and control in PNR situations make him a major threat in both half-court sets and transition. Whether initiating offense or attacking mismatches, Jensen's feel for the game and ability to make high IQ plays consistently stand out. Bennett is becoming very confident with his Tiger teammates. His ability to create shots for his teammates, along with his defense, has improved the most. Bennett scores well at the rim and can shoot it hot from 3. He has added 10 lbs. of muscle so far. Jensen pushes the ball well in up-tempo and puts pressure on the D. He still needs to work on his D, but you do not need to worry about his offensive game. I am excited to see what role he plays with the Tigers in school ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='2430313' first='Brady' last='Hiltunen'] (2027) |6'1 G| Sioux Valley

Brady has really stepped up his game this summer. Hiltunen is a confident left-hander with standout speed. He causes havoc and chaos on defense with his sharp reads and ball pressure. Brady is a sharp-shooting southpaw and he can really pass the ball. The future looks bright for this Cossack.

[player_tooltip player_id='2406045' first='Carter' last='Sapp'] (2027) |6'7 PF| Sioux Valley

The BIG and athlete Cossack had a great spring and has looked fantastic this summer. Carter runs the floor hard, moves well, scores on the block, and is productive slashing downhill. Sapp also uses his length well on defense and to clean up the boards. He does the little things to help the team. PHD is expecting a monster high school season from Sapp.

[player_tooltip player_id='2132816' first='Gavin' last='Shawd'] (2027) |6'2 G| Tea

Gavin lit it up on the PH Circuit this spring and consistently rose above the competition. He was named a Top Performer multiple times and has looked tough this summer as well. Shawd has huge breakout potential heading into his junior year. Gavin can score in a variety of ways and is a terrific rebounder for his size. He has really dedicated himself to becoming more of a defensive hound, so look for him to be one of the better 2-way players in the class next season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2846862' first='Grifin' last='Wiebenga'] (2027) |6'3 G/F| (2027) Tea

Grif is a BEAST and a returning All-Stater. Wiebenga is one of the top scorers in AA, he is a walking bucket. Grif has great footwork and explosive shot-making ability. Wiebenga is continuously working on his ball handling and becoming more dynamic as a rim attacker. Grif and the Titans will be a frightening matchup for every team this winter.

[player_tooltip player_id='2405099' first='Jake' last='Altringer'] (2028) |5'11 G| Our Redeemer's

Keep eyes on Altringer this winter! Jake had an injury-riddled season as a freshman, battling a hip injury that limited his time. Jake is a 6-foot wing who can play multiple positions. He can really shoot the 3 as well as get downhill. Altringer is a very good defender who also competes extremely hard. He has a long wingspan and looks like he could get quite a bit taller. Jake has a big upside and ORCS thinks he will shine in his sophomore campaign.

[player_tooltip player_id='2386769' first='Jayden' last='Marshall'] (2028) |6'0 SF| Our Redeemer's

Look out for Marshall this winter! Jayden had a fantastic freshman year at ORCS. He even started a couple of games when needed. Marshall is an athletic forward who gets to the rim and finishes extremely well. Jayden is an excellent passer who plays with his head up at all times. He does not back down from any matchup and competes hard every night. Jayden will play a major role for ORCS this season. The 6-footer plays much bigger than his size!

[player_tooltip player_id='2249810' first='Lucas' last='Peskey'] (2027) |6'0 G| Iroquois-Lake Preston

As a soph, Lucas averaged 18.5 ppg, 5.8 rpg, 4.6 apg, 3.9 spg, expect those stats to improve this winter and for Mr. Peskey to join the 1K Club! He is a stat-stuffer, but is also someone the Sharks look to when they need a big stop on defense. Lucas is an overall outstanding athlete and teammate on the court. He is always finding ways to help his team. Whether that is needing to be a scorer or more of a facilitator, he knows exactly when he needs to do either. Peskey puts in a ton of work in the weight room and in the gym, trying to improve his game. His best part of his game is his shooting and finishing around the rim. Lucas can control his body around the rim to avoid defenders and get off open shots. He is also a fantastic defender. Lucas broke a record last year with 10 steals in a single game, previously set at 9 for 1 game. This Shark is a major baller and is primed for a big upcoming season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2237731' first='Nolan' last='Schmidt'] (2027) |6'3 F| Our Redeemer's

People call him "the best Class B defender in the state". He effectively guards positions 1-5. Nolan's offensive game is where his improvement continues. He has extended his range and continues to be one of the best transition players in the state. Schmidt is a physical specimen who has also grown to 6'3". He can play both perimeter and inside the paint, his game continues to evolve. Nolan is one of the top players in Class B.

[player_tooltip player_id='2237753' first='Wyatt' last='Weekley'] (2027) |6'3 G| Our Redeemer's

Weekley's offensive game continues to evolve as a point guard who can play inside and out. Wyatt is an outstanding passer with a fantastic feel, and is crafty around the rim. He has put on muscle this offseason and continues to stretch the tape to 6'3". Weekley has incredible basketball instincts and his ability to defend multiple positions makes him one of the best all-around guards in the state. Wyatt is poised to take the next step as he goes into his junior year.

BEST OF LUCK TO ALL THE BALLERS AS SUMMER BALL CONTINUES!!
