Zion Prep. Michael is a great fit on this team. He is an ideal two-guard with his elite athleticism and scoring ability. You can play him off the ball as a shooter, and he is a defender with high potential. He is an aggressive driver who, despite his size, has no fear driving the ball. He is one of the most crafty finishers I saw on the day and is a pretty good athlete. Samartine' is outstanding in space and can score effectively from all over the court. He is a pest of a defender and has elite quickness. He did well getting downhill and finishing through big bodies. Jordan is a great defender who does well spotting up and shooting. Jordan is really talented, and after sitting behind people at PVI, it's good to see him playing at a high level. Darius showed off his elite vision, and after struggling with his jumper in his first game, he picked it up against Davidson Day. Darius did a good job attacking ball screens and using the space Davidson Day gave him. Shane is a versatile player and he showed that with how he scored the ball. Shane does a good job catching the ball at the nail or anywhere in the mid-range and getting either to the rim or to his spot to knock down a shot. He is a good catch-and-shoot guy from three, and he had a handful of tough buckets. Jhett was great shooting the three all day. Jhett has really good size for a two-guard, and he showed off his athleticism a few times today. Jhett can put the ball on the floor and get to the rim, and I love his potential defensively. His size allows him to be a guard or wing, and he can be a guy who locks down perimeter players and wings. Miller didn't have an answer for Izzy, especially as a driver. He got the rim consistently, and Miller had to foul him. Izzy knocked down a three and did a good job on the glass.
