[player_tooltip player_id='2323571' first='Jaxson' last='Davis'] (Warren)

Davis moves into the top spot in the class after the departure of the previous top two to prep schools along with the resume he put together in the second half of the season which was phenomenal. Led his team to the state title game putting his team on his back and carrying them there. Davis is a flat out winner! High level distributor that makes excellent reads in the half court. Pesky defender that racks up multiple steals a game. He can also score it effectively from all three levels. Wins off the bounce and can shoot it from three. This spring with [program_tooltip program_id='2078449' first='Meanstreets' last=''] in the EYBL 16U he averaged 18.8 PPG, 4.1 APG, 5.4 RPG, and 2 SPG.

[player_tooltip player_id='2125687' first='Travis' last='Brown'] (West Aurora)

Brown is a slick handling lead guard that makes it look easy on the floor. Smooth acceleration getting past his man for scores in the paint. He has a feel for the game setting up his teammates in situations to succeed. His speed, feel, and savvy is what you are buying. Averaged 6.5 PPG, 3.3 APG, and 1.3 SPG.

[player_tooltip player_id='2125677' first='Reggie' last='Stevens'] (St. Laurence)

Look for Stevens to take a big step forward for St. Laurence this upcoming season. He is a combo guard that can play effectively both on and off the ball. Plus shooter from the perimeter both pulling up and off the catch. Flashes some playmaking feel. He is a sound perimeter defender as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='2698739' first='Dereon' last='Smothers'] (TF North)

Long and lanky combo guard that shoots it pretty well from three and moves well off the ball. Explosive with the ball in his hands getting downhill and attacks gaps. Good connective passer and potential as a defender.

Perry Tchiegne (Benet)

One of the more intriguing lead guards in this class. He played on the sophomore level last year, but expect him to take on a major role for the defending state champs. Plays with excellent pace and has an advanced feel for getting others involved. Crafty finisher and mid-range game. Like him a lot defensively with his quickness and active hands.

[player_tooltip player_id='2323613' first='Demarco' last='King'] (Phillips)

Good sized combo guard that has a long and lanky frame. Shot it well during the high school season from beyond the arc, but has struggled hitting from deep this spring. Versatile player that can deck it and is an active off ball defender.

[player_tooltip player_id='2712818' first='Deven' last='Marshall'] (Rock Island)

Marshall caught our eye during the high school season with his shot making, playmaking, and efficiency that he played with in a veteran guard line up for Rocky. This spring in the UAA he has averaged 8.3 PPG and 3.1 APG.
