Gritty Sleepers

These guys are tough players who will grind for extra possessions and bring a certain skill set not dependent on touches or shot-making.

[player_tooltip player_id='2426450' first='Kai' last='Ngono'] | SF | 6'5 | Franklin

The model of a kid who knows his skill set, knows what he brings to the floor, and brings it at a high level. Super athlete who attacks the glass, makes hard rolls and cuts to the rim, runs the floor, and flies around defensively. Has shown some really impressive flashes this spring and continues to get better.

[player_tooltip player_id='2205069' first='William' last='Alseth'] | SG/SF | 6'5 | Edmonds-Woodway

Tough-nosed guard/wing who at 6-foot-5 can offer a lot of versatility on both ends. Has consistently been a gritty downhill player who can get shots up off various gathers and footwork around the paint. Plays with a super-charged battery, can defend multiple positions, and fills up the stat sheet.

[player_tooltip player_id='1863253' first='Cody' last='Bennion'] | SG | 5'11 | Auburn Mountainview

He's taken a big step forward this spring. He's more comfortable handling the ball and making decisions in the half-court. Still a very strong guard who can bully his way to the rim and slip around defenders with his footwork. Also a kid who can get going from deep and will defend his butt off.

Up-and-Coming

These three guys have really elevated their stock over the last year and are becoming key names to know in the 2026 class.

[player_tooltip player_id='2464769' first='Ty' last='Jorgenson'] | SF | 6'7 | Lynden

Big riser this spring who has legit size at 6-foot-7 and has really started to fill out his game. Good looking stroke from 3-point range, starting to get in the paint with more creative drives, and can cover some serious ground with his length and mobility on the defensive end.

[player_tooltip player_id='2205052' first='Logan' last='Heigert'] | SG | 6'6 | Burlington-Edison

Big threat from deep who has the size to shoot over closeouts and mixes up his shots well, showing some power and finesse finishing inside. Has really highlighted his shooting prowess this spring on the EYCL and can stress defenses with or without the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='2307318' first='Rhet' last='Young'] | PF | 6'9 | R A Long

Really impressed with his ability to find space around the paint. He does a great job sealing, flashing, and moving to space when teammates drive in. Has an advanced feel for positioning and finding ways to get open. Very solid big man who passes out of post well, and does a lot of work before the shot to make it as easy for himself as possible.

Athletes

Simply put, these guys are fantastic athletes at their positions. They can affect the game in ways a lot of kids can't, with their reactions, length, and big bounce.

[player_tooltip player_id='2827935' first='Ledger' last='Kelly'] | SF | 6'6 | Colfax

He's a long, athletic wing who can make plays on both ends of the floor. A pretty natural "mover" who can defend the rim, has good feet and hips to smoothly change direction on the perimeter and glides around the floor with long strides to cover ground quickly.

[player_tooltip player_id='2726766' first='Solomon' last='Sheppard'] | SG | 6'3 | Sequim

Very bouncy guard who can finish above the rim and plays with some hunger to battle for extra possessions. Was a key guy at Sequim last season and plays aggressively around the ball on both sides of the floor. Someone who is going to attack the game, has quick hands and is a plus rebounder as a guard.

[player_tooltip player_id='2021650' first='Malachi' last='Bowman'] | SF | 6'5 | Lynden

Long wing who has shown he can use his big frame to bang around bodies inside but has also displayed some promising touch with the jumper, both with his back to the basket and from 3-point range. He's a guy who should play a bigger role at Lynden next winter and keep them a formidable team in the 2A.

[player_tooltip player_id='2021601' first='Miles' last='Henry'] | SG/SF | 6'4 | Auburn

Very talented shot-creator who has really filled out his game as a rebounder and defender. His energy and athleticism have shown up in a lot of hustle categories with Seattle Select and he's a guy who can put points up in flurries.
