Ty was extremely fun to watch with Lynden over the past couple seasons. He is extremely athletic, being able to dunk on people with emphasis (I watched a couple live myself). He is headed to Green River next season and is going to thrive at the juco level. He plays great defense, being able to guard multiple positions and make his presence known with big blocks.

Ty is a dynamic player who adds tremendous value to the Lynden team. His absence at the start of the season was deeply felt, but upon his return, he electrified the court with powerful dunks and high-energy plays that shifted game momentum. Defensively, Ty showcases versatility by guarding multiple positions, while offensively, he excels with a solid mid-range game. His presence has been a game-changer, elevating both the team’s performance and spirit.

Jorgenson was on a tear this spring before breaking his leg. He should make his return in the early part of the season and could be the next star out of Lynden. He’s another kid with some size at 6-foot-7 who has the ability to play from different levels. He has improved across the board, from outside shooting to attacking downhill, and showing he can defend at a high level. Look out for Jorgenson and Lynden to make another run this winter.

Jorgenson was looking like a real riser in the 2026 class this spring, but unfortunately suffered an injury that has kept him sidelined since June. When he comes back, he’ll be a kid to watch who was heading for a breakout season. He has improved his handle and can attack off catches all over the floor, and has really improved his outside shot to go along with some big athleticism at the rim.

Jorgenson is looking like a big riser this spring with Sammamish Select, not only growing a couple inches since winter, but continuing to polish his game and show some versatility for a 6-foot-7 wing. He’s shown a nice motor to put in work on the glass and play with some urgency on offense. He can knock down the three at a decent clip with space and has used his long strides to attack the paint off the dribble where he’s capable of using different finishes to get the job done. A really promising wing who should be a big part of what Lynden does this winter.

Ty played great for the Lions this season and played big minutes. He was strong in the paint, having a solid base and being able to explode to get the rebound. He uses his body well when attacking through traffic or defending the paint, doing whatever to help his teammates get a stop and win the game. He provides energy on the court with his athleticism and confidence. He will be relied on quite a bit next year for the Lions and I think being with Sammamish Select this summer will get him ready for the workload.

Ty will likely be one of the main “post” players for the Lions, who could play Brant Heppner Brant Heppner 6'6" | SF Lynden | 2025 State WA more on the wing. The Lions will be losing 2 of the best players in the schools franchise in Anthony Canales and Brady Elsner but guys like Jorgenson and Malachi Bowman Malachi Bowman 6'5" | SF New Braunfels | 2026 TX will be ready to step up. Ty has a big frame down low and is very, very string. He is a matchup nightmare for almost every team in the NWC and will see an increase in productivity.
