Here are the top playmakers from this past weekend's Windy City War from Batavia.

[player_tooltip player_id='1435692' first='Rykan' last='Woo'] Wolves 2026

Woo has been a Parham favorite since his freshman year. In only two games he showed how much he's improved over time. Rykan is a heady guard who attacks gaps and makes the extra pass when the lane is cut off. He shoots the ball so well that he gets more attention on the perimeter and that helps him with his drives and setting up assists or lobs.

[player_tooltip player_id='2467517' first='Darrius' last='Hawkins'] Team Herro 2028

Hawkins came into high school with a reputation for creating highlights. At Windy City War he did just that with his slick handles and shifty crossovers he had ankles breaking left and right. Darrius has good vision and made several pinpoint passes to cutters and players setting up for shots. He's one of the better playmakers in the state.

[player_tooltip player_id='1598786' first='Willie' last='Felton'] 1 Dream 2025

Felton has been surging lately. He's an agile guard who uses his athleticism to drop some of the sickest passes on the court. As an unsigned senior Willie can score from all three levels but his vision and body control let him make some of the flashiest dimes look routine. Felton is a steal for anyone in JUCO next season because he's a willing passer who can score if you take away his targets.

[player_tooltip player_id='2839866' first='Cason' last='Newton'] [program_tooltip program_id='2076459' first='Breakaway' last=''] 2026

A physically gifted guard who keeps the ball moving for [program_tooltip program_id='2076459' first='Breakaway' last='']. At 6'0 he attacks off the dribble using either hand. Cason initiates the offense well and shows good peripheral vision in the half-court. Newton is playing in the right system with shooters and solid big men to help get some attention for a small college look.

Joey Aniecto Basketball Paradise 2026

A dependable guard who keeps the ball moving on offense. Joey did most of his scoring in transition but was more of a threat as a passer when the game slowed down. Aniecto has a good handle and finds ways to get paint touches.

[player_tooltip player_id='2125687' first='Travis' last='Brown'] IL Wolves 2027

As one of the top players in the class Travis has been a terrific two way player. He's an athletic scorer who has shown he can be a facilitator too. Brown plays well off fastbreaks and looks to find guys who runs the court with him. Travis is a exciting player who's starting to figure it out from the PG position.
