Windy City War featured some of the premier teams from the Midwest. Prep Hoops had tons of coverage from the event. We continue to dive into it here in Windy City War: 2026 National Prospects!

Lamont Hamilton Jr (Power 5 17U)

Hamilton Jr had a massive event for his 3SSB squad. This point guard is so shifty with the rock in his hands consistently getting downhill and to the rim. Scores on scoop shots, soft touch finishes, and acrobatic layups. He is also an adequate three point shooter draining them pulling up. Quickness on the defensive end.

Yusef Gray (Power 5 17U)

Gray is headed to Iowa State. The combo guard brings size on the perimeter with plus athleticism. He pours in pull up mid-range jumpers stretching to three on occasion. Pure jump shot with elevation off the floor. Also is super athletic finisher at the cup that consistently made spectacular finishing moves.

Dothan Ijadiambola ([program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota'] 17U)

The Totino Grace star guard is a powerfully built and long wing that plays through contact. He wins off the dribble on straight line drives with his strength and finishes in the lane. At his best when he can get two feet in the paint, jump stop, and go up where he is either fouled or scores. Good wing defender that competes on that end.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560867' first='Christian' last='Wiggins'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota'] 17U)

Wiggins is another Iowa State commit that is headed to Ames. Silky smooth two guard who is a plus athlete. Burst with the ball in his hands getting to the cup and accelerating up for big finishes at the rim. Feathery jump shot that he lets fly with confidence from beyond the arc.

[player_tooltip player_id='2115655' first='Ryan' last='Kreager'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota'] 17U)

Kreager is a 6'9” five man that has legit size, strength, and athleticism up front. He plays above the rim catching lobs and finishing with force out of the dunker spot. Good screener that can roll to the hoop. Finishes very well off others passes with quickness and fluidness. Solid area rebounder that plays physical boxing out.

Jaidyn Coon ([program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota'] 17U)

This Iowa product was one of our favorites from the weekend. He is a plus three point shooter with quality size for the small forward position. Plus athlete that plays above the rim in transition along with being able to post up smaller defenders. Like what he brings as a connective passer and is an outstanding perimeter defender checking multiple spots and swatting shots.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560778' first='Nolen' last='Anderson'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota'] 17U)

Anderson came alive with a massive game on Sunday. He is a stretch big man that was absolutely on fire from distance in their game against Wisconsin Playground as he poured in numerous threes. Good strength and body control around the rim to finish as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='1552512' first='Zavier' last='Zens'] (Wisconsin Playground 17U)

Zens is one of the best prospects in Wisconsin and it is easy to see why. The 6'7” combo forward is a plus three point shooter that made several deep ones letting it fly with a ton of confidence. Also hit a tough turnaround jumper along with banking another tough shot in. Poured them in all over the floor along with playing with physicality on the glass and being a shot blocking presence. Bright future here!

[player_tooltip player_id='1481179' first='LaTrevion' last='Fenderson'] (Wisconsin Playground 17U)

Fenderson is a strong bodied wing that is committed to Wisconsin. Looks like a Big 10 guard with his strength, toughness, and ability to get downhill where he finishes through defenders. Often times they are bouncing off him. Also a capable shooter that can continue to get better in that area.

Owen Marshall (OPS 17U)

Marshall had a big game against [program_tooltip program_id='2078408' first='Team' last='Rose'] on Sunday morning. The wing is a plus three point marksmen that poured them in at a high rate while recording 14 points in a victory.

Briggs Pardon (OPS 17U)

Pardon is a lead guard that makes quick passes off live dribbles. Creative finishing game in the paint along with being able to get to the foul line at a nice clip.

[player_tooltip player_id='2381694' first='Elijah' last='Gorman'] (Wisconsin Ball Club 17U)

Gorman is a plus shooter from beyond the arc. Thick bodied sharp shooter caught our attention with his feathery shot from deep as he made an array of them.
