Prep Hoops Indiana had boots on the ground coverage from Spooky Nook in Hamilton, Ohio for UAA Session II/UA Rise Session I. The first live evaluation period of the spring brought coaches into the gym from all across the country which always helps to generate a different level of buzz. Throughout the weekend we dropped our typical notebook-style write-ups to provide coverage in real time. However, now as we debrief from the weekend, we will take a more expansive view of what we saw. Let's begin here by highlighting some of the Class of 2028 prospects who either made their name known to us for the first time or vastly exceed our previous expectations.

One of the more physically impressive Class of 2028 prospects on this Indiana Jammers 15u team, Boone displayed his two-way versatility throughout the weekend at UA Rise Session I in Hamilton, Ohio. The 6'1" guard has a strong build that he uses to play his way through contact while attacking the basket. He finished well inside while also knocking down some three-point shots in games we watched. Intriguing young prospect to keep an eye on as he comes up through the Brownsburg High School program.

A very effective catch-and-shoot threat, Hart got it cooking from three-point range in the Indiana Jammers' last game of the weekend that we watched. The 6'0" guard from Cloverdale High School isn't just a spot up shooter though. He displayed some effectiveness as a secondary ball handler and playmaker. His shooting ability really helps to open up the driving lanes for Hart off of the bounce. It was a good weekend for him at UA Rise Session I.

We had heard a good amount about this prospect after he put together a good freshman season and was off to a strong start this spring. However, he really impressed us after getting the chance to watch him play a couple of times at UA Rise Session I in Hamilton, Ohio. Knox is a versatile athlete that can do a little bit of everything offensive. He was a consistent matchup problem for opposing defenses because he can use his size to bully smaller defenders inside while still possessing the skill level to operate effectively out on the perimeter. Knox, an Angola High School product, was one of several standouts for [program_tooltip program_id='2228160' first='OPS' last=''] 15u as they went 4-0 on the weekend.

This 6'5" big man prospect from Chesterton High School first caught our attention at the Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase but has really expanded his game since then. On Saturday at UA Rise Session I for [program_tooltip program_id='2075551' first='Indiana' last='Game'] he was big part of a win that including hitting three three-point shots in the fourth quarter alone. His ability to stretch the floor like that, while also finishing a tough reverse Mikan layup in the post, really displayed his growth as a player over the last several months.

Yet another talented prospects on the OPS 15u squad that went 4-0 at UA Rise Session I over the weekend. Middleton is a catch-and-shoot threat that knocked in some good looking shots while we were watching over the weekend. His range, quick release, and sound footwork making him a projectable off-ball talent. The prospect from Carroll (Fort Wayne) High School really helps to open the floor for his teammates with his shooting ability.

A highly skilled guard from Fairfield High School, this 6'2" guard came on strong in [program_tooltip program_id='2075551' first='Indiana' last='Game'] 15u's final game of the weekend at UA Rise Session I. Smith can stretch the floor as a pick-and-pop threat or use his athleticism to attack closeouts and score around the basket. He knocked in three three-point shots in their Sunday victory. Already a standout back in the fall at the Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase it is easy to see the development of Smith's kid over the months.

Already ranked #12 in the Prep Hoops Indiana Prospect Rankings, Vogt is vastly overqualified for normal "stock-riser" status. However, he played as well over the weekend at UAA Session II as we have seen him play this spring. Not only did the 6'5" guard shoot it well as he normally does, but Vogt also found success attacking closeouts and scoring from two-point range. He appeared a bit more fluid athletically than we had seen in the past.
