Shane’s Top Bigs – Run-n-Slam

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This past weekend I was in Fort Wayne, Indiana for one of the top AAU events in the Midwest - Bill Hensley Run-N-Slam. He is a nice athlete that allows him to move and run the floor well, but he does his scoring and impact on the game around the rim. He finishes strong and towards the rim. He has a good leaping ability that he showed off in a quick vertical dunk. He is a great player to have in the dunker position. He is active on the glass. He defends really well with his chesting-up ability. He is physical but does not foul. He has great height and length. He moves really well and is a versatile defender. He plays the game with great energy and competitiveness. When he gets the ball around the rim he knows how to finish with good touch. Showed the ability to finish with either hand on either side of the rim. He is a shorter forward who is strong and physical and does the little things right. He finishes around the rim seeking contact and going towards the rim. He plays with a high level of energy as well. He was the best communicator I saw all weekend and I saw him playing at 8am. He steps on the court and is ready to use his fouls, get rebounds, and protect the rim. He is a big kid that moves other players out of his way. He is so strong. He is a tough player to keep off the glass physically, but he also has a great mentality. He tried to grab every board. He puts the ball on the ground and gets to his right hand to finish too. I found myself at the end of the game just really liking the player Gregory is.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
