I have already written the articles for the top players I saw Friday night. This article will be about the top 17U guards I saw on Saturday.

Compton is a really nice two-guard who is an impactful next-level player. He is a smooth operator on the floor. He has a really nice jumper too. His best ability is his shooting ability. He has great length and moves off the ball well. He can shoot the ball off balance, on the move, and catch-n-run nicely. He knows how to get his feet set and shoot the ball quick. He then can put them on the ground and find the open areas of the floor.

Jackson is a nice long athlete who allows for a nice scoring punch for OBC 17U with a floor operator of Drexler at point guard. His a really nice slasher because he gets low and balances on drives. He has a quick first step that blows by defenders. He can score around the rim well and knows how to do it with bigger defenders contesting him. He is really good at ripping the ball low and getting to where he needs to go. Also has a nice ability to keep his dribble if the shot isn't available for him.

Priddy was getting to it in the game I watched him play against The Family EYBL squad. He attacked their pressure from the tip-off until the end of the game. He attacked pressure and was able to get to the rim and midrange where he is best. He knocked down shots well and showed off his high-elevating jumper off the dribble. He is really good at creating shots from himself. He showed he could play a fast-paced game while still being totally under control.

When Gray was on the court he made Midwest a different team. He has control and command of the floor when he is out there. He is a natural leader and organizes his team well when it is needed. He makes the right decision with the ball. He does a great job of setting his teammates in the right area of the floor. He knows how to get inside the defense and either score or kick it to teammates. I thought a big reason Midwest lost the game I watched was because Gray was not on the floor. His absence was felt, this just shows his impact.
