With the school year winding down and the class of 2025 getting ready to graduate, I wanted to take a look into which players in the 2025 class will be the hardest to replace.

[player_tooltip player_id='1451025' first='Leyton' last='Martin'] - Arlington HS : Losing the all time leading scorer at your school is always going to be tough but also losing someone who played such a big role to the school as a whole over the last couple seasons is very difficult. New coach Drew Bryson has such a high basketball IQ that I know Arlington will still be a competitive team. Carson Rowell and Micah Robinson, both 2027 graduates, will have bigger roles on both ends and can be relied on to get easy buckets for the team.

[player_tooltip player_id='1696692' first='Brant' last='Heppner'] - Lynden HS : Here is a player who is going to be very, very hard to replace. Heppner did it all for the Lions last year and held the team on his back very well all year. He scored inside and out while also being able to bring the ball up the court for the Lions, if needed. [player_tooltip player_id='2676747' first='Jayden' last='Navarre'] will likely step into a more ball dominant role, along with [player_tooltip player_id='2835606' first='Gordy' last='Bedlington']. [player_tooltip player_id='2729681' first='Spencer' last='Adams'], Ty Jorgensen, and [player_tooltip player_id='2021650' first='Malachi' last='Bowman'] all add length and solid size for the Lions and all will likely be the main options for the Lions to start the season as they find someone who they can rely on to score the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='1587970' first='Gannon' last='Dykstra'] - Lynden Christian HS : The Lyncs produce big strong posts and quick guards who are insanely athletic, often. Gannon fit the description of a quick, athletic guard and he was also a bucket getter. He knows how to find his spots and hit shots quickly, being key to the Lyncs offense. With Dykstra on the way out, 2027 graduates [player_tooltip player_id='2392727' first='Dawson' last='Hintz'] and younger brother [player_tooltip player_id='2739562' first='Gunnar' last='Dykstra'] will be the next to step up. Gunnar shoots the lights out of the gym and Dawson can really score the ball smoothly and also can jump out of the gym with his athleticism.

[player_tooltip player_id='1984463' first='Carter' last='Hansen'] - Auburn HS : Auburn always brings in underclassman who step up right away and are ready to go when their seniors graduate. [player_tooltip player_id='2021598' first='Daniel' last='Johnson'], a 2026 grad, is already known in the state for dominating alongside Carter but he will have a bigger role next year and will dominate. [player_tooltip player_id='2545185' first='Keenan' last='Perry'], a 2028 grad, will likely be getting more varsity minutes too after having a solid AAU season so far.

Josiah Lee - Glacier Peak HS - Jo was the rock of this team for the past couple seasons and has been one of the best to ever put on a GP uniform. Lee gets to the rack, finds his mid-range spots, hits open threes, and simply provides the energy on the court. Reed Nagle, 2026 graduate, has already proved he can play at the big stage at an elite level by playing fantastic during the state tournament last season. Nagle scores from all 3 levels smoothly and has been learning right alongside Jo for a long time, Reed is going to be ready to shine.
