Recruiting Round Up: Recent Offers and Commitments

He picked up his first offer from UNLV back in April, and he just got an offer this past weekend in Memphis from Utah Tech. The lengthy 6'6 small forward can fill it up in a variety of ways. He can pull up from 3 and bury a triple, or he can take his man to the rack and finish. McKinney is also a lob threat and can put back misses as well. He is very versatile due to his size and ability to defend. Over the course of the high school season he guarded a number of highly ranked opponents, including AJ Dybantsa. Carmona is a high flyer as well, and can slam home impressive dunks. On offense, he looks to attack but he can also knock down shots from the perimeter. He was a 3 and D guy for the Knights this past season and I expect he will keep on contributing on both offense and defense. He was a reliable player for the Knights throughout their 2024-2025 season, and had a lot to do with grabbing the 3A title. On offense, he finds ways to score inside. On defense, he is an absolute pest and doesn't give his opponents much breathing room.
