is off to Copper Mountain College to continue his basketball career. He was a 3 and D guy for the Knights this past season and I expect he will keep on contributing on both offense and defense. Taylor is also a tough competitor and I think that trait will help him at the next level as well.

played a vital role in Mater East Academy’s state championship run. He constantly plays with intensity and applies pressure on defense. I also like how unselfish he is on offense. He is willing to make the extra pass, but is capable of burying a 3 if he’s got the best look. When it comes to athleticism, he has some lateral quickness to him.

‘s defense was fun to watch in the playoffs. He stifled his opponents with his physicality and made sure that they didn’t feel comfortable. In addition to his reliable defending, Taylor also showed that he can splash in shots from the perimeter.

performed well in the state semifinals. On offense, he was moving off ball and hit a pair of 3-pointers. I also saw him draw contact on a few of his drives, which led to him getting to the free throw line. On defense, he was swarming the Spring Creek guards and forced them to make some ill-advised decisions with the ball.

showcased his 3-point shooting ability, hitting four triples over the course of the game. He did a great job of getting open for his attempts, and you could tell that he was feeling it. I was also a fan of how Taylor performed on defense. He marked his man well, and made sure that the Meadows School guards took hard shots.

is everything one looks for in a point guard. On offense, he always has his head up and is looking for open teammates in which he excels. He’s also very quick and craving fast break opportunities where he tends to get plenty of layups. His jumper is on point, especially when he sets his feet. Taylor’s defensive might be my favorite part of his game. He not only can slide his feet well to stay in front of his matchup, but also keeps his hands up and active for steals. Taylor plays both ends of the floor at an exceptional level.
