Program Profiles – BCRI

A capable ball-handler, quality perimeter shooter, and solid decision maker in the half-court, he has the ability to do a lot of different things on the offensive end of the floor. He creates space with hesitations, in-and-outs, and misdirection, all of which allows him to get into the paint off the bounce, where he's a good finisher with nice touch on floaters. He's super competitive, isn't afraid to sit in a stance and guard, and does a nice job of elevating the play of those around him. A lefty that scores with length and athleticism at the rim, he's probably further ahead in his development on the defensive end of the floor right now. With long arms, wiry strength, and the mobility needed to move well laterally, he can guard any spot on the floor and does so in a disruptive manor. Offensively, he does a great job of running the floor in transition, finishes with his left hand at the rim, and has started to show signs of consistency as a shooter from behind the arc. The epitome of a <em>points guard</em>, he has a terrific handle of the ball, is elusive in tight spaces, and can really create space with his dribble moves. He's wired to score, proving to be an ultra crafty and skilled finisher in the paint, a tough shot maker in the mid-range, and a consistent perimeter shooter in catch and shoot situations. His three level scoring is a certain seperator and makes him one of the better guard prospects in the ZGXL. The high academic wing is a college ready shooter with good footwork and a compact, quick release on his jumper. He has deep range from behind the arc and soft touch in the mid-range, and with solid positional size, is able to get his shot off against almost any defender. He plays at his own pace, makes good decisions as a passer, and can operate as a floor spacer or physical, screening forward when needed. Already a 1,000 point scorer, he's in constant movement on the offensive end of the floor, making him a particularly hard cover when he's off the ball. He's one of the better pull-up jumper shooters around, getting into his shot off one or two dribbles and covering plenty of ground when doing so. While he can space the floor as a catch and shoot guy, he's really at his best as a scorer with the ball in his hands, showing range on his jumper, tough shot making traits, and great touch as a scorer over size in the paint.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
