Already receiving D1 interest as a football player, Jamail had some moments of dominance at the 16u level for [program_tooltip program_id='2496167' first='Pro' last='Lane']. He has long arms at his size, and was simply too strong to be boxed out, allowing him to swallow up offensive rebounds in bulk, and rack up put-back buckets. He's not going to be flying up and down the floor, but was quicker than I expected over short distances, making him dangerous stepping in from the dunker spot to receive a dump-off pass from a teammate. Soft touch to finish at a high percentage even when taking some bumps. I don't have any official stats, but it wouldn't surprise me if he had a 20 and 10 performance in the game I watched.

Reggie continued his run of strong performances this spring, as he was producing on both ends over the weekend with MN Laceup. At 6'7 he has a nice blend of size, strength, and explosiveness that makes him a difficult matchup in the paint. He was beating opposing bigs up the floor in transition, was a pick & roll threat, and could bully defenders after catching on the block. Defensively he can quickly get off the floor to block shots, and showed the mobility to slide into position to make a play at the rim. When you get a guy with Reggie's physical attributes who plays as hard as he does, it's usually a recipe for consistent production.

Carter shot it really well for [program_tooltip program_id='2075449' first='East' last='Metro Bounce'] on Saturday, and has the size at 6'5 to excel as a stretch four. He does a great job of keeping his hands and feet ready to catch and shoot out on the perimeter, but also has the coordination to quickly get into his shot off the move. Caught opposing forwards off guard in the first half against [program_tooltip program_id='2075260' first='ABP' last='Athletics'] with his ability to stretch the floor, and was able to knock down a number of shots from deep before they were able to adjust. Also knocked down a buzzer beater from well beyond the arc to send his team into halftime with a boost of momentum.

Most 15u teams just aren't going to have someone big enough or strong enough to contain Mehki. The 6'6 freshman was a monster on the glass, able to reach up in traffic to secure boards on both ends of the floor. Did a nice job of keeping it high and going right back up for put-back buckets. Was perhaps at his best defensively though, where he racked up 3 or 4 blocks within the first few minutes of the game. he showed good timing getting off the floor, and did a nice job of not swatting at the ball to avoid getting into foul trouble. Has some nice physical tools to work with moving forward.

Ben is one of the best passings bigs in Wisconsin's 2026 class. He's at his best scoring the ball around the rim, but when out on the perimeter he sees the floor so well, and is able to use his 6'6 frame to zip in passes over the top of the defense to find an open man. Around the basket he's not afraid of contact, and is going to look to bully defenders into deep position before going right over the top for two points. I really like the effort and energy he brings to the floor, and you'll never see him take a possession off.

Arnez plays much bigger than his listed 6'5 height for Team Rose. He puts the power in power forward, as he has a strong frame, and isn't afraid to initiate contact around the basket. He can go straight through opposing forwards to get to the rim, and was relentless on the offensive glass, at times pulling in a rebound on his own miss before going back up for two points. Arnez also has some finesse to his game, showing he can handle it and transition, while also knocking down a handful of threes across the two games I watched. Productive weekend from the 2026 forward.

James got off to a hot start on Friday night in a win for All Wisconsin. He does a nice job of sealing defenders in deep position to make for easy entry passes, and scored three times within the opening minutes of the game, as his team was looking to feed him early and often. James does a great job of keeping the ball high to avoid getting stripped by smaller players, can shift the defense with a pass/shot-fake, and is quicker than you'd expect spinning baseline to beat his man to the rim. Isn't going to wow you with explosive or flashy plays, but knows what he can do as a 6'10 big and produces consistently because of it.
