Some of Oklahoma's brightest talent took the stage in Memphis on Nike's E15 circuit. While new Jordan Brand program LeGYnds has a fair share of the promising 2028 prospects, there were Oklahomans spread throughout other teams.
One of the best individual performances by any Oklahoman over the weekend came when Hopgood scored 21 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in a tough game against LivOn. Had the opportunity to watch a portion chunk of that game, and the live action more than backed up the box score. Along with being a gifted athlete for his size, Hopgood had it going in the mid-range. Was a problem in the low block, but also routinely hitting jumpers around the free throw line. He already had a size and athletic advantage, so it was a great sign to see the touch and form from the mid-range. Often young bigs can lean too much on their size and their development can stagnant. But with a father who had a very successful playing career, it shouldn't be shocking to see Hopgood continue to add to his game. Which is scary, because has the chance to be a dominant force in Oklahoma.

Coleman crushed it against small school competition at OCA and he's showing his abilities can translate to the national stage. He's an inside-outside threat, who had a couple strong performances with 13 points and 5 rebounds in one contest. While nearly double doubling in another with 11 points and 9 rebounds.

The game of his that was scouted in person, was unfortunately not one of those performances. As he was quieter as a scorer. But there were still very promising signs as he didn't let his impact be dictated by simply scoring. He looks to be approaching 6'8 with a wingspan to match. And he put his height to good use by covering ground on defense and high pointing rebounds. Can push it a bit himself and also smartly pushing it ahead with passes. Then he turns on the jets to sprint down the court to hunt for putback opportunities. The scoring will come, especially when he play with energy like that.

Douglas is the current top dog in Oklahoma's Class of 2028 for a variety of reasons. There's the fact that he plays like a dog on both ends of the court. He always stands out as an athletic and aggressive "energy giver". But he also has the most poise in the class. There's the highlight reel plays in transition. There was a spin move that he hit on a fast break that was simply "wow". But he showed the savviness by helping his team adjust to a zone. He did that on Sunday morning by going to the high post and moving to the openings. Where he's nearly automatic in the mid-range. Or made the right reads to open teammates. It's little aspects like that speak to how complete of a guard he already is. To put it simply, "Bubba D" is one of those dudes.

There's good odds that Washington could earn scholarship opportunities in three sports; football, basketball and track and field. He's a special athlete, the best in the 2028 Class, and a strong argument to be the best in any current class in Oklahoma. He's relentless energy when it comes to pressuring on defense and attacking the rim on offense. Seemingly has limitless bounce, with a highlight reel full of acrobatic layups and explosive dunks. Had games where he proved to be a streaky shooter, capable of catching fire from three. Insane upside and desire from Washington. With his time on the Nike circuit being crucial as he refines his basketball skill and feel to match his athletic ability.

Running with MoKan, the Putnam City North guard closed out the live period with 17 points vs Expressions. He also handed out 4 dimes vs Mac Irvin, all while receiving extensive run against some of the best 2028s in the country. Murry flashed a lot as a freshman, fitting into a senior laden team. With promising shooting and indicators he should evolve into a dynamic complete scorer. A spring and summer against national competition is an ideal stage setter for a bigger role and breakout sophomore campaign.

One of the best traits a young prospect can have is perseverance. Smith seems to have that in spades. A poor Saturday was followed up by a game changing Sunday morning performance for a win. The athletic wing-forward prospect was crucial in grabbing boards, slammed home three dunks and simply played BIG. It's refreshing to see a player that does have some of the skills and profile of a wing, be willing to have the grit to play as a forward. As the rest of his game develops, the experience of interior battles will pay dividends.

A hand injury limited Wilborn's scoring impact, but not his contributions to winning. Fits in perfectly to the guard heavy team, by being a nuisance and havoc causer on defense. Then quickly turns defense into offense with transition playmaking. While also having a remarkable feel in the half court to not turn the ball over. And also be the straw to stir the drink for his team. Racked up steals, assists and hockey assists. The small guard continues to profile as a bet on production type prospect. As he's skilled and understands the game.
