A rising prospect out of the Cincinnati area, Carr-Short provides length, athleticism and size on the interior, Carr-Short had some bright flashes on the perimeter for [program_tooltip program_id='2320052' first='All' last='Ohio Red'] 16 U this weekend. Shooting the ball with confidence from the perimeter, Carr-Short spaced the floor and could faceup and attack using decisive moves. If Carr-Short can get stronger and improve his touch around the basket, he'll improve his FG% and be even tougher to stop in the paint while also expanding his offensive ability to the perimeter. With tons of upside on both ends of the court, Carr-Short is still just scratching the surface of what he could become down the road.

Burton was aggressive in the game I caught by getting to the paint and playing on balance, finding a lot of shots in the 5-10 foot range. Burton is a quick but compact guard who is tough to move off his spots and uses pivots and pump fakes to get open. Continuing to produce on an EYBL squad is one way to get us to notice your game and Burton will make his debut in our rankings during our post summer update.

Brad Beal Elite 15 U has a stacked roster and they went 4-0 and appear to be a contender for Peach Jam in July. Mitchell is the lone Kentucky prospect on the team and he was productive this weekend as a slasher, using his quickness and strength to finish at the rim. Mitchell also showed the ability to post up smaller defenders and score in the paint, again using his strong frame near the basket. In the game I caught, Mitchell also knocked down a couple tough 3-pointers including a step-back and a deep top of the key triple. I also enjoyed Mitchell's ability to make the extra pass, leading his team with 18 assists on the weekend. Brad Beal Elite 15 U has a ton of top talent and Mitchell is one of the players fans should look out for during the rest of the EYBL season.

A prospect I want to buy stock in early, Hill is one of the youngest players in the class of 2027 but is one of the elite shot blockers in the country already! Hill does an excellent job of contesting shots without fouling and was active on both ends of the court for one of the top defensive teams in EYBL 16 U action. Offensively, Hill does a nice job of setting screens and rolling hard to the rim, looking for the lob pass that he can catch at its highest point and throw down a dunk. Also generating extra possessions for his team as an offensive rebounder, Hill provides impact in ways that far exceed points on the stat sheet. Considering his size, age, defensive impact and potential, Hill appears to be one of the top 2027 prospects in the country and on a rapid improvement rate.

I caught PG Elite 16 U and left really impressed with Janicic, a very skilled wing who made shots off the catch and set up his teammates for easy looks. Janicic was running off screens and spotting up to fire away from 3-point range and connected on an average of three 3-pointers per contest. However, I was most impressed by his pace and passing ability, not being rushed on the ball and ending the weekend with a 13/3 A/TO ratio. High level prospect in the 2027 class with Macedonian ties and he already competed at basketball without borders and impressed.
