It took him a bit to get going, but Young erupted in the second half to squash an Egan run and show why he's considered among the top rising sophomores in the state. He came out looking to distribute and helped build an early lead, then scored 22 of his 27 points after halftime to close the door on the win. Known for his perimeter shooting, Young did knock down a pair of 3's but really got himself going off the dribble, getting all the way to the rim for some tough finishes but also showing advanced footwork and touch on a handful of intermediate-range maneuvers. He won't blow you away physically or athletically, but Young's toughness, IQ, skill level, and production are sure to catch the eye of college coaches before much longer.

It was a similar tale of two halves for Delgado, who was instrumental in building an early lead while scoring 17 of his 19 points before the halftime buzzer. An established sharpshooter, Delgado shook himself loose for well over a dozen attempts from beyond the arc, showcasing pristine mechanics with every ball feeling like it was going in when it left his hands. He's a bit one-dimensional as a scorer, but showed added elements as a high-IQ passer within offensive structure and a willing defender with nice instincts for the ball. Small colleges should be beating down Delgado's door but he certainly has a chance to carve out a role as a scholarship-level shooting specialist.

With movement and injury depleting Egan's perimeter attack, a lot has fallen on Moore's shoulders and he answered the bell on Thursday with a dynamic 24-point effort. A true microwave scorer who can create something out of nothing at a moment's notice, he got himself going by way of his trademark pullup jumper. Moore showed comfort stepping out to 3 off the catch along with an expanding arsenal of footwork and tough finishes off the bounce. He needs to learn to slow things down at times and value the simple play, but Moore's competitive fire and undeniable scoring ability should have him on scholarship radars in the near future.

Part of a three-headed backcourt monster that has Cherry Hill East looking like an early state contender in Group 4, Abreu could be the key toward the Cougars reaching their ultimate upside. A dynamic dribble-drive attacker with as slick a handle as you'll see in South Jersey, Abreu was impossible to keep out of the paint on Thursday en route to a number of swift finishes at the cup. He knocked down a 3 to keep the defense honest and showed the ability to be an effective pest on the defensive end. Abreu has evident upside to tap into as he improves his ball security and learns to manage a game, both of which will be key developments over the course of East's season.

It took him a bit to work his way into the flow of the game but Bobb nonetheless showed considerable talent over the course of a double-digit effort. A natural rim-runner in the process of trying to expand his game, he was most effective when he kept things simple by beating opposing forwards down the floor and using his length and athleticism as a finisher around the basket. Bobb did step out and hit a smooth 3 from the top of the key and showed improvement in his ball skills on a number of faceup drives. He'll have a chance to earn scholarship attention as he learns to blend his skill game with the natural impact he can make using his physical gifts.

Back running the show for Egan after missing much of last season due to transfer restrictions and injury, Tollerson-Irby looks to be a welcomed addition as a steady hand at the helm of the offense. He was consistent on Thursday in getting the ball where it needed to go with crisp passing ability and a compact handle en route to his spots. Tollerson-Irby was efficient with his shot selection and showed a consistent ability to knock down open looks from the midrange and from 3 alike. He's not the sexiest but his ability to run a team should draw intrigue from college coaches in the years to come.

Gabriel came off the bench for Egan but showed an intriguing skillset as a lefty shotmaker with size. The southpaw came out firing, showcasing a simple and repeatable stroke with a quick release out to the arc. He played with good energy, though we'd like to see him find more ways to impact the game using his size and length. We'll look to learn more about him in further evaluations but the combination of size and shooting should certainly be appealing for local small colleges at the least, particularly given Gabriel's strong academic profile.
