Here is a look back at the points guards who stood out at the Grit Region Finals.

[player_tooltip player_id='2531979' first='CJ' last='Pittman'] Work Foundation 5'10 (IL) '28

Pittman is a freshman guard playing up two levels with 17U. He is the one guard in the event with a ton of upside because he can score and make others around him better. CJ looks like a natural fit playing with the older guys.

[player_tooltip player_id='1598786' first='Willie' last='Felton'] 1 Dream 5'10 (IL) '25

An unsigned senior who is considered one of the best passers in the state. At the Grit Final he dropped 16 assists in one game. Willie is an athlete he can score when needed but is more of a pass first pg.

Joey Aniceto Basketball Paradise 5'9 (IL) '26

Joey is a high-IQ basketball player who looks to run the offense and keep the other four guys on the court engaged. If you leave him open he will make shots. Aniceto showed he can be a dependable guard.

[player_tooltip player_id='2825802' first='Bradyn' last='Harrington'] [program_tooltip program_id='2539820' first='The' last='Academy'] Blue 6'2 (MI) '26

Harrington is a slender guard who gets to the rack with very few dribbles. Showed he can hit shots from all over the floor but was used more as a passer for a guard heavy team.

[player_tooltip player_id='2112230' first='Buck' last='Allen'] [program_tooltip program_id='2539820' first='The' last='Academy'] Black 5'9 (MI) '26

Buck is an energetic guard who pushes the pace of the game. He is an excellent shooter when off the ball. He can get in the paint and draw attention to get teammates open.

[player_tooltip player_id='1552439' first='Logan' last='Luxem'] [program_tooltip program_id='2078374' first='Full' last='Package'] 6'2 (IL) '26

Luxem has been a guard on our radar for a year now. He has always been a dependable playmaker but has shown he can score it from three levels. For his size he has the right attributes to be a scholarship guard.

[player_tooltip player_id='1561106' first='Austin' last='Ford'] INB Elite 5'11 (IN) '26

Ford is a steady guard that can shoot from anywhere on the court. He's rock solid with the ball and plays within himself. Austin can play on or off the ball and knows how to lead his teammates properly.

[player_tooltip player_id='1465903' first='Alex' last='Granville'] IL Force 5'11 (IL) '26

Granville played well this weekend. A shifty guard who shot the ball well from three. Alex managed to put up some points while keeping the flow of his team and distributing the rock when he garnered extra attention.

Bryson Flood El Paso Aztecs 5'11 (TX) '26

Flood was a smaller but speedy guard who scored most of his points in transition but was more of a passer when the game slowed down.

Angelo Newman B-Rod Select 6'2 (MI) '26

Newman is a bigger guard who turned down shots often to make assists. In the game I watched Angelo played a step ahead of others and it made the game look too easy at times. He showed good shooting mechanics but seemed more interested in passing the rock.

[player_tooltip player_id='2610312' first='Ehman' last='Guster'] [program_tooltip program_id='2440586' first='B3' last='Athletics'] 5'11 (MI) '26

Taj is a change-of-pace guard with good length. He gets after the ball on defense using length to disrupt when on the ball. I like how slick he was with the ball getting to spots and knowing when to drop off passes to the roll guys when playing in ball screens.
