Prep Hoops Indiana had boots on the ground coverage throughout the weekend in Fort Wayne for the annual Bill Hensley Memorial Run N Slam. This event is always the premier recruiting and evaluation event of the spring and that certainly was the case again this year. We really value the opportunity to see so many teams from the Hoosier state, from across several different shoe/independent circuits, come together to play in one event. Over the next few days we will be pumping a lot of content from the Run N Slam. In this article let's take a look at six more of the most impressive underclassmen from the weekend.

There was a stretch that Bode put together on Saturday afternoon for [program_tooltip program_id='2400000' first='Indiana' last='Elite Team Indiana'] 15u that was really, really fun to watch. The talented, versatile, 6'5" forward knocked in a mid-range jump shot off of a nice cut, finished a strong right hand drive at the rim, and then finished another drive with a spin move and left-handed layup. Those three buckets came in the span of about 90 seconds. He is one to watch in the Class of 2028 for Hamilton Southeastern High School.

Always a consistent presence for [program_tooltip program_id='2470527' first='Indy' last='Heat Red'] 16u, Fertil had a strong weekend once again at the Bill Hensley Memorial Run N Slam. The dynamic playmaker scores it well from the lead guard position and has the ability to make tough passes from a live dribble as well. He plays with an impressive combination of speed and pace while balancing his scoring and playmaking abilities.

Few players in Indiana's Class of 2028 have had a better spring, from a statistical standpoint, than this guard from Mississinewa High School. Fetz has been absolutely torching the nets for [program_tooltip program_id='2383637' first='Summit' last='City Elite'] Black 15u and that was the case once again at the Bill Hensley Memorial Run N Slam. The dynamic guard averaged 24.8 points per game while putting up a 33-point performance along the way.

Yet another talented young prospect coming up through Silver Creek High School, McLaughlin caught our attention in a close game on Saturday for [program_tooltip program_id='2400000' first='Indiana' last='Elite Team Indiana'] 16u. The 6'4" left-handed wing knocked down a couple of smooth catch-and-shoot three-point attempts and appeared comfortable attacking closeouts to his left hand in a straight line as well. His combination of size and perimeter skill makes him one to watch in the coming years.

Already ranked #51 in the Prep Ho[program_tooltip program_id='2228160' first='OPS' last=''] Indiana Class of 2027 Prospect Rankings, we've had this Westview High School product on our radar for a while now. He has great athleticism on the perimeter and can score the basketball in a variety of ways. Schlabach had that athleticism and scoring prowess on display over the weekend for a very good [program_tooltip program_id='2228160' first='OPS' last=''] - UA Rise 16u squad. He was a big part of their success.

Schultz was the go-to guy for [program_tooltip program_id='2383637' first='Summit' last='City Elite'] Black 16u over the course of the weekend. The 6'1" guard from Huntington North High School averaged 16.0 points and 5.2 rebounds per game at the Bill Hensley Memorial Run N Slam. An under-the-radar prospect to watch in the Fort Wayne area in the Class of 2027.
