Maddox was an absolute blast to watch this tournament. He brought serious energy to every game and played with the intensity you love to see. He pushed the pace like a true point guard, showing off some really smooth handles along the way. Maddox did a great job setting up his teammates, always looking for the right pass, but when it was his turn to score, he didn't miss a beat. He spaced the floor really well, helping keep his team in great scoring position all game long. On defense, he stood out with the pressure he applied nonstop. Maddox was in his opponent's face the entire time, making life tough for whoever had the ball. Just a super solid performance all around

Nitzel is always one of my favorite players to watch, and this weekend just added to the list of reasons why. He does all the little things right and plays such a smart, controlled game. He consistently puts his team in great spots to score and really understands the flow of the game. This weekend, Nitzel also showed off his scoring touch. He was knocking down shots from deep and looked super smooth taking defenders off the dribble and finishing at the rim with ease. Defensively Nitzel was a pest and forced opponents to pass off all weekend. Just a complete performance from a player who clearly knows how to play the game the right way

Cowans had a standout weekend and was definitely one of the bright spots for his team. He played with a ton of confidence and wasn't shy about letting it fly, if he liked the look, he was taking the shot. In the first game, he showed off his deep range, knocking down threes with consistency and making it look easy. In the next game, he switched it up and took what the defense gave him, getting buckets with his mid-range jumper and smooth floater. Scoring just came naturally for him all weekend, and he proved he could get it done in a variety of ways

Ulmer had a strong weekend and really stood out with his consistent scoring. His first game was where he truly shined. Running the point, he played with zero hesitation and constantly pushing the pace, getting downhill, and attacking the defense. He did a great job keeping his head up and finding open teammates, setting up a bunch of scoring plays. At one point, he just kept attacking possession after possession and capped it off with a big time finish at the rim that gave his team the cushion they needed to seal the win

Gutierrez is one of those players who just keeps gaining confidence every time you watch him. His game has taken a big step forward recently, and this weekend he was out there dominating. He got to the rim with ease off the dribble and had no problem finishing with layups or smooth short jumpers. He was knocking down shots from all over the floor and did a great job finding open teammates for easy buckets. His transition game really stood out — he was making the right reads and playing at a pace that felt a step ahead of everyone else on the court
