Additional DeMatha Summer League Standouts: Day 5

[player_tooltip player_id='2353578' first='Daniel' last='Abass'] was the most impactful player on the floor in this game. Daniel has been a rebounding machine through his first two games, and I love the versatility I'm seeing from him. He knocks down threes and has the frame to play in the paint. He defends multiple positions and really gets the game on that side of the ball. Eli was lethal from three, hitting all 8 of his attempts. Eli can get to the rim as well, but the three-point shooting was where he did most of his work. Eli is a good defender with a nice length and a good rebounder. Eli made the right play all game and had a dominant and efficient outing. I loved the defensive intensity from Ben Johnson, and he had an efficient night on the offensive end. Ben is a skilled combo guard who can get his shot from all over the court. Colby is a great athlete and looks like a complete scorer. He has a strong frame and nice size for a wing. Colby had a huge dunk in this game and knocked down a couple of threes. He was impressive all around, and I loved what he did defensively. Andrew is a guy who keeps getting better and better. He has been terrific this spring, and he has been one of the best players in this summer league. His mix of shooting and athleticism is terrific, and he has developed into a skilled scorer from all three levels who creates his own shot. Gabe is a natural scorer who can go for 30 any night. Gabe creates his own well and has a terrific jump shot.
