Malachi is a great defender who does all the little things well right now. He has great size for someone entering his Sophomore year, and I love what he brings on both ends. He is a good spot-up shooter and uses his athleticism to be highly effective as a driver. With Westfield missing a couple of key players today Malachi stepped up and showed his skillset. He struggled the past few games, but he did a nice job today. Christian knocked down a few threes and had some nice finishes at the rim. Abass has grabbed tough rebounds all summer league, and his strength and hands have been terrific. His activity has been amazing, and he has gotten a number of buckets off his work on the offensive glass. Xavier did a great job getting to his spots and playing at his own pace. Xavier created good looks for himself, and he did great work on all three levels. He hit a few jump shots where he showed off his handles and improved bag. Xavier is having a nice spring, and he is one of the best players in the DMV. He had a nice day shooting the ball and got out in transition for easy buckets. Brayden was great on the glass, and I loved his energy. He went for 16 points, 9 rebounds and 5 steals. William is a great passer with a high IQ. He is a fantastic on-ball defender and a truly elite rebounder for his size.
