This is the third part of my standouts from the Adidas circuit's stop in Texas. Here are a few 16U and 15U prospects of note:

[player_tooltip player_id='2144204' first='Jaylen' last='Gunther'] | 6'1 G 2026 [program_tooltip program_id='2317251' first='Wildcat' last='Select'] 3SSB 16U

Gunther's penchant for scoring made all the difference versus [program_tooltip program_id='2076309' first='Southern' last='Assault']. On and off-ball, he was either getting to the cup or getting off shots from deep. Gunther even turned his aggressive defense into fastbreak opportunities where he distributed and got buckets for himself. In the end, he dropped 30 points and chipped in 5 assists and 3 steals.

[player_tooltip player_id='2243492' first='Dazon' last='Reid'] | 6'4 G 2027 NY [program_tooltip program_id='2849101' first='Wiz' last='Kids'] 3SSB 16U

If Reid was across halfcourt, he was in-range for three. He got warmed up versus K-Low with pull-up twos and trips to the charity stripe. Almost everything else after that was from behind the arc. On some he used a ball-screen, while on others he created the space with a step-back. Nevertheless, Ried caught fire as he sunk SIX (6) threes in an effort to keep his squad afloat. He finished with 28 points and 6 boards.

[player_tooltip player_id='2452096' first='Ajani' last='Stewart'] | 6'4 G 2027 [program_tooltip program_id='2078682' first='K-Low' last='Elite'] 3SSB 16U

In both games on Saturday, Stewart did most of his damage from behind the arc. Whether he was spotting-up or coming off of a screen, he made the defense pay for giving him any space. And his long arms helped him shoot over defenders even when they did close out hard. He had 18 points and 7 rebounds against MBJ Elite, followed by 14 points and 4 rebounds against NY [program_tooltip program_id='2849101' first='Wiz' last='Kids'], with a total of 7 threes.

[player_tooltip player_id='2635389' first='Parker' last='McDaniel'] | 6'3 G/W 2028 [program_tooltip program_id='2076309' first='Southern' last='Assault'] 3SSB 15U

McDaniel got things rolling versus [program_tooltip program_id='2317251' first='Wildcat' last='Select'] on Saturday with a three off the catch. From there, he found different ways to get into the lane and finish through contact. His defensive rebounds and steals allowed him to build his forward momentum and use his shoulders to power through defenders. Then he finished the game like he started – with a pullup three and another catch-and-shoot, totalling 19 points and 3 steals.

Cj Williams | 5'11 G 2028 [program_tooltip program_id='2317251' first='Wildcat' last='Select'] 3SSB 15U

Williams had defenders on skates when he wanted to get into the paint off the bounce. One-on-one and in pick-and-roll, he created openings for himself then quickly burst through them. In the process, he got to the free throw line for 11 attempts. He also created advantages for everyone else. Williams tallied 13 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists against [program_tooltip program_id='2076309' first='Southern' last='Assault'].
