Reid used his length to wiggle to different spots off the bounce. He does a nice job navigating to different places on the floor on the attack. Reid showed he can get a bucket in the blink of an eye. Reid can play at multiple gears and has no issue turning the corner in the half-court. He was able to come up with rebounds and moved the ball on offense. I would like to see Reed look to make the highlight play less and just keep it simple. He should see traction at the low and mid major level.

Reid is a lead guard with great positional size. I like the pulse that Reid has on the game and is playing chess while everyone is playing checkers. He used his length to alter shots and collect rebounds. Reid impacted the game in all facets. He showed flashes from behind the arc as a shot maker. He does a good job using his angles and navigating to the bucket. He was effective changing gears on the attack. Hoping Reid can add more muscle to his frame in the coming years to make his transition to college easier.

A native of the Bronx who’s made his way to WV, Reid has a lot of positive building blocks to work with as he finetunes his game over the next several years. He has great size and length in the backcourt with a smooth cadence and pace to his attack off the bounce. He splits ballhandling duties but shows upside as a lead guard with his ability to collapse defenses and find teammates. Reid also does a great job of using his length to pester opposing guards on the defensive end. With a reclass to 2027, he’ll run it back on the 16U 3SSB circuit this spring and summer, and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see some offers thrown Reid’s way.
