[player_tooltip player_id='2201953' first='Jayden' last='Johnson'], 5'11 Elizabeth

Johnson is one of the top guards in the class and is primed to have a monster May. The 5'11 guard has a smooth release on his jumper and can knock down triples in bunches. Johnson is more than just a shooter as he has a good handle, which he uses to get into the lane and can score in a variety of ways around the rim. He slides his feet on the defensive end and can find his open teammates in the halfcourt. Johnson is a talented guard prospect who should light up the scoreboard over the course of the month.

[player_tooltip player_id='2344534' first='James' last='Roberts'], 6'1 East Orange

Roberts was one of the top scorers in the 2027 class last season as he eclipsed more than 500 points in 2024-25. The 6'1 guar has a nice first step, which he uses to blow by his defender and knows how to finish around the basket. Roberts is more than just a slasher as he has a good shooting stroke and can get hot from distance in a hurry. He moves well without the ball in his hands and plays tough on-ball defense. Roberts is a gritty guard prospect whose ability to make plays at both ends of the floor is something that will help his stock over the next couple of weeks.

[player_tooltip player_id='2421701' first='Jack' last='Hayes'], 6'3 Morristown

Hayes has the ability to play multiple spots on the perimeter, which makes him an intriguing prospect to watch in the class. The 6'3 guard uses his size to see over his defender and rises up nicely on his jumper. Hayes finishes nicely around the basket and sets his feet before he shoots. He has the length to defend multiple positions on the floor and is an underrated passer.

[player_tooltip player_id='2521971' first='Tyler' last='Mcdonald'], 6'0 North Star Academy

Mcdonald has the potential to break out this May as he should have the ball in his hands more. The 6'0 guard attacks the basket with a purpose as he finishes strong around the basket and is unafraid of drawing contact. Mcdonald can also score in the mid-range and can make opponents pay for giving him space behind the arc. He slides his feet on the defensive end and moves well without the ball in his hands. Mcdonald is a gritty guard prospect who should make plays at both ends of the floor this May.

[player_tooltip player_id='2763521' first='Sean' last='Turner'], 5'11 Hamilton West

Turner should have the ball in his hands more this month, which will help his game in a big way. The 5'11 guard uses his handle to get to his spot on the floor and knows how to finish around the basket. Turner can find his open teammates in the halfcourt and rarely forces shots in the halfcourt. He moves well without the ball in his hands and gets deflections on the defensive end. Turner's ability to make plays at both ends of the floor will help his stock in a big way over the next couple of weeks.
