We have gotten through Memorial Day and are ramping up to the start of "summer ball" in the coming days. AAU season is more than halfway over and July will be here before you know it. It's time to update our rankings, starting with the class of 2026. These rising Seniors have seen a lot of movement over the years and have had a few players transfer out of state. Here's a look at the biggest risers of this update.

One of Mike Roth's favorite players in the 2026 class, Gabbard is the biggest mover in this update. Climbing from 213th all the way to 50th on the back of a strong AAU spring. As a Junior, Brady averaged 13 points and 4 rebounds per game for a Holy Cross team that was a big surprise in the 9th region. Scholarship level schools looking for a big wing/forward should check out Gabbard and [program_tooltip program_id='2229551' first='Moss' last='Elite'] this summer.

Trae is one of the best athletes in the class and recently earned his first D1 offer as Alcorn State offered him this month. Cayson has had a modest high school career at Douglass but it's all about playing well at the right time and it appears Trae has done exactly that. On the heels of that first offer, Cayson goes from 78th overall up to 53rd and could continue trending up this Summer.

Wuchterl had one of the best shooting performances in KHSAA Sweet 16 back in March, hitting double figure threes. Making his move up from 146th to 60th in the class and could keep moving up. D2/D3/NAIA schools should be checking out Kolton and his [program_tooltip program_id='2335148' first='Kentuckiana' last='Hoops'] squad as the roster is full of impactful prospects who can compete at those levels.

Byrd is a sleeper prospect out of far western Kentucky who is trending up, heading into his Senior season. In this update, Owen goes from 161st to 70th overall and is likely on the cusp of his first NAIA offer as Midway has been recruiting him hard, per his high school coach. We tend to miss on a lot of the far west KY players and Byrd is one of those players who has been overlooked, thus far.
