Here are the top players from Sunday games at Windy City War from the state of Illinois!

[player_tooltip player_id='2125660' first='Lamari' last='Carpenter'] [program_tooltip program_id='2076459' first='Breakaway' last=''] 2027 (Glenbard North)

Productive game for Carpenter against D1 Minnesota. He hit 2 three-pointers and had two really big dunks. Lamari is an athletic guard who likes to get to the rack. His length and shift with rock are certified ankle breakers. He has fluid control at all times when on the ball. He scored 18 points in the win.

[player_tooltip player_id='2839878' first='Mason' last='Martin'] [program_tooltip program_id='2076459' first='Breakaway' last=''] 2027 (Nequa Valley)

A breakout game for Martin as he went on a tear from behind the arc hitting 5 threes in the game. Mason isn't just a shooter he's an active 6'5 forward who doesn't shy away from contact and is a tough rebounder amongst the trees. On the offensive glass, he kept second chances alive and scored using step-through moves and small fadeaways. Martin led all scorers with 27 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='2877501' first='Malik' last='Horton'] [program_tooltip program_id='2078408' first='Team' last='Rose'] 2028 (Curie)

A new player that jumped on my radar Sunday morning. I was impressed with how tough Malik was with the ball in traffic. He made a living getting to the free-throw line in the first half. As the game went on he was able to hit some mid-range shots and even managed to nail a three-pointer to close the gap on Power 5. Horton led his team in scoring with 20 points. The Curie Condors continue to produce these gritty players who aren't afraid of taking the difficult shots.

[player_tooltip player_id='1552460' first='Bryce' last='Wegrzyn'] [program_tooltip program_id='2076459' first='Breakaway' last=''] 2026 (Libertyville)

On Sunday Bryce had that defining game which will elevate him into the top 5 prospect in the class. His activity on the glass and shot selection were superb as he scored 20 points draining 4 threes and the rest were from extra effort offensive rebounds that he scored against much taller defenders. Wegrzyn's skill level seemed to rise against the higher-level teams. He is the top big man colleges will have on their radar.

[player_tooltip player_id='2839863' first='Michael' last='Nee'] [program_tooltip program_id='2076459' first='Breakaway' last=''] 2026 (Glenbard East)

Nee may solidify himself as the best shooter in the state. In the D1 Minnesota game, he shot the nets off hitting 6 threes in what would be a close loss to one of the better AAU teams in the country. My other takeaway from this game is how well Nee runs an offense and I believe his shot-making making keeps defenses honest in man-to-man coverage. He is a player that could show up on the low D1 radar.

[player_tooltip player_id='2385372' first='Noah' last='Corro'] Power 5 2028 (St.Laurence)

Corro woke up Sunday morning already in scoring mode. Against a solid [program_tooltip program_id='2078408' first='Team' last='Rose'] squad he made 4 three-pointers and also drove to the basket and was fouled multiple times to make 13 free throws. Noah plays the game at two speeds and at times he can make small mistakes with the rock. As only a freshman he will learn to minimize some things the more he plays as lead guard.

Here are the top players from Sunday games at Windy City War from the state of Illinois!
